Next Assassin’s Creed May Be Set in Brazil

Connor could be headed South.
The next entry in the Assassin’s Creed series may take place in Brazil. In an interview with Portugese site Techtudo (as translated by Gamespot), Ubisoft Brazil managing director Bertrand Chaverot revealed that the next game will take place at least partially in the South American country, though no other context was provided.
It’s worth noting that a mission in Assassin’s Creed III is set in Brazil and Chaverot may simply have misspoken. Ubisoft hasn’t officially commented on the next entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, though a recent leaked survey suggested the next game could have co-op and be coming in 2013.
For now nothing is confirmed, but we’ve reached out to Ubisoft for comment and will update this story with any additional information or clarification we receive.
