IMO i think it's a lack of confidence in their performance...most these new cats use so many gimmicks to make their voice sound right...if they rhymed live it would sound all ? .....Imagine Nelly trying to rap live with his sing/songy type rap voice......I seen "real emcees" forget their lines too....but the crowd knew the words and the show continued.. -

The only beef I got with Max is how pronounced his "s"'s which is why I can't stand the ? gucci replace "str" with "scr". My dude, if max is dustier than jones then Max must be cremation....

I agree with that but what some don't get is that some rappers don't have the voice to be able to perform in venues, especially the larger the venues are. Take a ? like Ross, i can already tell that he's a dude who easily loses his voice & doesn't have much of a "powerful" voice that sounds good live & won't have his voice gone by half of the show.
