A stout and coffee cocktail is being touted as the drink with the magic ingredients that will see you into the New Year and out the other side. Whether you are hungover from New Year's Eve or yet to go out, this drink works both ways. The LAist suggests mixing oatmeal stout, quality cold brew coffee and ice. It's simple, it's easy, it's cheap, it's effective.
Add 12 oz of oatmeal stout to a quarter cup of coffee, add ice and pour. Simple
It says: 'What's important here is that you get good cold brew coffee and add about a quarter cup of it to each 12 oz. bottle of beer.'
'Pour that over some ice in a pint glass. ? open an oatmeal stout, pour, stir, sip, and be amazed'. For those that may overdo the stout and coffee cocktails, a motor club is offering New Year's revellers a tow home for to stop them drink driving.
