How do you politely decline an invitation to church? I hate when muhfuckas do this ? and it's usually somebody from work. It puts me in a ? position because I know they genuinely think they're doing something nice. But I'm also not about to explain why I don't wanna go play make believe with some grown ass people, mind ya business hoe. Suggestions? Cause I know it's bound to happen again and again.

    lie

    "......................."

And make sure to make it creative enough, and believable enough to the point where it wont get suspicious when you keep turning them down.

    Another piece of advice.

Never lie about being at anything public as a cover up.

They slick too...first hit you with "Hey what do you have planned for the weekend?"

And if you slip up and say "Ah, I don't really know"

    They get that look like

    grinch.gif

Cause they know they got you right where they want you

Add "Aside from the usual", that gives you some breathing space.

It was more of a response to N64, even though it as a joek post.

Say you lie about going to somebody else church, working a part time job, helping out with some youth program, etc.

That opens up a can of worms, next thing you know they'll be like, "Word, I know such such who be there to, do you know them?"

Or, "Man, I was at that church last Sunday, and I ain't see you."

Or, "I go there every weekend, and I don't never see you."

    etc.

    My go to lie

"Ah, my cousin and I always do some family stuff around that time, or something like that. It's something they can't easily follow up on, and I can use it as an excuse in the future if someone ask the same thing.

    Tell'em you muslim.

Real ? though, I just say "no thanks". If they ask me again, I just look at 'em.

    After that, I'm emailing HR.

Chicks be like, "Kzzl, you should come to church with me this weekend". Homies be like, "Man, bruh. We aughta get up and go to church in the morning". Mama be like, "You need to be in church more often".

I reply with one of these...

    1. "The ? I'mma do in there?"
    2. "The ? I look like in a church?"
    3. "? that. I don't pray."
    4. "? , I'm getting ? this weekend. ? that ? ."
    5. "What the ? for?"
    6. "? , I ain't getting up in the morning for ? . It's the weekend."

So and so forth. I leave the curse words out when talking to moms though. Co-workers, I say the same thing with no ? given. No need to sugar coat ? in industrial work, foul language and ? a plenty.

I just say no thanks, maybe something later in the day. if they ask why just be honest, say your not a believer and wouldnt want to go to something you have no faith in.

If they think less of you because you dont believe they can ? right off.

Not necessarily. The work you do will speak for you. Not your coworkers. You refusing to go to church wit them had no correlation wit what you do in the office.

    That's outside activity.
