i got a question what is up with the "cc" double c's? is that some crip ? ? or you just have a thing against putting a k after a c?

I recall him saying it was just his steeze. It makes his words pretty or something or maybe he's a tripple O.G crip banger but doesn't want us to ask him about his ghetto life.
I dont mind though. I think it does kinda make his words more pretty to look at sometimes.

Im still waiting on this amazing Gucci Mane verse that will show me he's lyrically on par with Mobb Deep.

I wonder if Gucci would even know what the word 'Polygamous' means. :/

So because someone career is hotter for a brief moment in time, it makes them a better rapper? Or did i get what you were saying ? up?
What exactly do you mean by that?

Are you honestly trying to tell me that when we all look back in 30 years, you believe more people will care about what Guccin Mane has done then what Mobb Deep have?
You think Gucci is going to be a ever looked at as one of the best in anything to do with hip hop?

Yeah, maybe, but saying Mobb Deep are wack and Gucci Mane can spit better then them is disgraceful to anyone who knows anythin about hip hop.
Maybe one day, Gucci will be able too, as of now though, he can't. I'd almost like to say that thats a damn fact.

Its like saying Chingy can rap better then Tech N9ne (Random example). Sure its an opinion, but its a ? stupid one at that.

you got kids making biased opinions because they was born around the time most of the best hip hop was created, if you can't recognize what it was, how do you know what it is?

the proof is in the music and for you and your taste gucci might be the nig for you to listen to, i aint about to sit here and argue with you. to me word for word, what is actually being said, subject matter, topic wise, prodigy is on a different level than a gucci mane. gucci mane is a few slots up from Lil B, he's a funny guy, he makes feel good music and you have to accept him for what he is.

prodigy is cut from a different cloth, career wise the industry is more or less on an elementary level, during the early to mid 90's it was much more grittier, the music he made with havoc speaks for a certain generation just like gucci's, the only difference is, it was more reality based, less glitz and glamour, gucci is cool for a club scene no doubt.

it's a different element prodigy brings to the table, he's not my favorite emcee' but he is better than gucci mane lyrically.

    my ?

But.....its an artform, its a craft, there's levels of mastery and greatness to be attained in this rap ? .
Theres a difference between an MC and a rapper, theres a whole lot of factors you have to evaluate and take into account to form an educated opinion on someones "skill set" with this rappin ? ......so many things.
Sure people can be like, I like 'such n such' over 'such n such', thats an opinion. Cool. Whatever. But at the end of the day, there really is almost a ? checklist that a rapper or an MC needs to fill out before he can be classed as dope.
Everythin needs to be taken into account and because these days its gettin less and less important to the fans and the rappers themselves to do that, it explains why the music itself is lacking and why any and everybody thinks they can be a rapper.
Rappers like Gucci Mane are a damn good example of why everyone thinks they can be a rapper. If you combined all the factors that make a dope MC, Gucci really aint ? , but he does make good music to get ? up too, I'll give him that. "Give me 5 more minutes and a cold orange juice coz im really really trippin" haha.
