I've been conceptualizing ideas of what denotes alpha status in human societies. Money is a big one. Get more liquid assets. We are not living in a day and age where brawn is all that's needed to be alpha anymore.
Being able to distribute the desired things in life provides people with power i would also say contributes to Alpha status. -

That kind of alpha male is a "societal standard". It is the same kind of ring around the rosey question as power vs money. What makes an alpha male? Something inside them, a way they think, move, speak, operate in life and with people. It appears money is what makes the man only because the man is making money.
