This is what separates the reason. We got the young cats and they thing and the older bloods and theirs. Sometimes we bump heads sometimes we don't. I know the young cats keep me up to date, even if I like it or not, but it opens me up to what's happening. And as old cats we hip the young dudes to what we rocked out to, perfect balance if you ask me.

What up King. I was sonof1973, I always dug your posts. I'm up there but I listen to everything and my son keeps me current. I think we can give younger\ people the background on where concepts in rap originated and clarify a lot of myths and revisionist ideas. At the same time, young posters keep old heads on point if we get too biased on that side (I know I'm guilty of it sometimes lol) and keep you open to new ideas. I'm amazed the most at how 18 yr olds are more like our generation than 20 somethings, at least where I live. They wearing flattops and listening to 90's rap along with Meek French Ross Chief Keef etc, its ill lol.

My man *dapz* yeah man, that's how it flow. Kind of like when my pops used to school me on his joints and bobbed his head to what I was listening to as well. But I think the lost art of sampling is what's really dividing the generations because that was the common ground. I used to listen to a song and my old man would tell me the original and I would go back to catch the bars they used and we'd vibe off that -

I work at home, I can smoke and ? with yung bols on AHH simultaneously lol. Being old (usually) means being smarter, I ain't complaining..dinosaurs already earned they stripes I would not want to be 20 again as far as knowlegde. Lotta ? I knew didn't make it to be a dinosaur, so I'm cool lol.
