yes in some cases like Ryback or Bray Wyatt... in some cases its helping some gimmicks get over that shouldnt like Fandango and the Matadores ? .

Bray Wyatt rambling like a schizophrenic and the crowd responding what? makes me forget the segment and think of the Attitude Era.

Crowd chants is sometimes the best parts of RAW or Smackdown.
Personally, I think they ? up by turning Ryback heel, simply cause the Goldberg chants started dying down when he was getting over. -
The chanting is fun though. Especially when you get a reaction from them because of it. It's also better than silence.
Back in the day the Kurt Angle you suck chants with his theme music was GOAT. -
