Roy HibbertIts close. Brook is a better offensive player but Roy is a better is defensive player
-
Roy HibbertHibbert. He actually protects the paint, and he's better at rebounding the ball.
Lopez is also injury prone, which is a huge negative. -
This thread is kinda useless cause Brook Lopez had two missed seasons in his career Hibbert (though he's a defensive center) hasn't missed a sufficient amount of time.
-
Roy HibbertBrook Lopez is the best center on the offensive side of the ball. I think many will agree that. But if I'm looking at the total package, there is a number of centers that bring a better overall game. Roy Hibbert is definitely one of them.
-
Roy Hibbertoverall its close but brooks lack of rebounding hurts him and although brook blocks shots hibbert is a better defender so ill say hibbert

Roy HibbertBrook Lopez has been great for Brooklyn but like I said multiple times I'm just not 100% convinced he's a championship caliber center.

I would say DeMarcus Cousins. -

Brook LopezI think the better question is, if Indiana had Brook instead of Hibbert could they have won the ECF in '13?
I voted before I asked myself this question; now I'm not so sure. Hibbert was giving Bosh ass that good D nh
Scoring wasn't Indiana's issue in that series, and it isn't necessarily an issue for them now. Based on who I think would better help a squad take down the repeat offenders, I would like to change my vote. As stated before, Brook is (much) better offensively, but Hibbert is still better overall. -
Brook LopezThis is the best Offensive Center vs the best Defensive Center. But Hibbert rebounds. That's pretty much the deal breaker. Brook is my ? but til he starts getting boards he wont be the best.

lol and pause, mentioning Bosh in that sentence makes it even worse -
Brook LopezDo I have to drop them stats?
-
Roy HibbertBrook doesn't rebound.

everyone knows the stats, especially in the rebound column -

Roy Hibberthibbert has a presence in the middle of the paint. lopez is soft. gimme hibbert

Brook Lopez
The boy is so damn awful of offense it's a damn shame
And how you're the biggest dude on the court every night and you suppose to be some dominant defensive Center and can't pull down double digit boards.
-
Roy Hibbertmane....

I didn't want to drop Lopez stats cuz Hibbert stats is so bad it don't even need a side by side comparison.
-
Roy HibbertHow you gonna talk about Hibbert's rebound numbers when Lopez got small forward type rebound numbers. That's really why you didn't want to drop his stats.
-
Roy HibbertHibbert struggled last season but hes been better this year. And he's a defensive anchor his impact on the game isn't all in the stats Lopez' game is. He has no intangibles at all he's just efficient withing 5-10 feet.
-
Brook LopezBrook Lopez has had a different coach every year of his career, whereas Hibbert has one of the best coaches in the league (Frank Vogel)
Brook is the best offensive center in the league and one of the best rim protectors
Dwight Howard is the best defensive center in the league btw
