Rumor: The Division Delayed til 2015
Options
Tom Clancy's The Division could be delayed until 2015, if a rumour circulating today is to be believed.
The rumour stems from an anonymous source interviewed by GameReactor, so it shouldn't be taken as verbatim, though publisher Ubisoft has already delayed two of its games this year, with both Watch Dogs and The Crew being pushed back from their original release dates.
In the conversation, the source allegedly said: “The game engine works well, it is not clear but works well. Actual game development has barely begun, however. The fact that Ubisoft issued a 2014 release date seems laughable if I’ll be completely honest, we will never have time to release The Division this year. This is a big project, we have very far to go…”
Tom Clancy's The Division is scheduled to release in Autumn 2014 for PC, Xbox One and PS4, and became one of the most highly anticipated games of the year following its showings at various events last year. Fingers crossed that this is all just a rumour, then.

I don't mind. It looks very promising. I rather they make it the best game they could make it out the box than to half step it and patch the ? out of it later. There already are plenty of potentially great games lined up for release this year to hold it down across all platforms.

Or they could over develop up it into a pile of ? like they did with Splinter Cell.

Touché.
