I'm watching NFL Networks top10 marathon and they talking about the greatest collapses and bring up Josh McDaniel's failures with the Broncos and Mangini with the Jets. Does anybody else think that in 10-15 years, hell you can even see and hear it happening now, that people will begin to question just how good Bill Belichick is because none of his assistant's have had success away from New England adding on to the whole no SB post spygate situation that already causes many to question just how good they were?

So now BB should get blame for what his assistants do on other teams, with completely different players? Lets also blame him for the Isreali-Palestenian crisis as well...maybe even the meteor shower in Russia. -
He has made the most out of the talent he has. Except for Brady,Gronk & Moss (when he played there) no one on that team scares you . He is a great coach, Probably one of the best in history and this is coming from a die hard Steelers fan who worships Chuck Noll. As for Belichick's assistants, IMO the offensive ones were riding Brady's back and the defensive ones were puppets of the dude with the hoody. P.S. I really never thought that whole spygate ? mattered cuz if they were cheating that bad them super bowls wouldn't have came down to the wire. I know they haven't won since but they are always knockin' on the door and that is the mark of a great coach. Top 5 in my book.

Parcells disciple, great coach, ? , cheated/pushed the limits of what he could get away with.... multiple super bowl winning coach.

The last time the Pats played in the Super Bowl is the last time Bill will coach a team to the SB. A great coach, but his time is over now that big Harbaugh is in town.
-
imo the defense should get ALOT of the credit for those 3 SB wins. Yes, Brady made plays but this D was the heart of the SB winning run imo.
-
Romeo Crennel has been a failure as Head Coach.
Same with Charlie Weis.
Bill OBrien is doing good in Penn State so far though -

And who do you think runs the Defence?? -
The problem is his assistant coaches tried to bring a Patriot mentality to teams that weren't the Patriots... A good coach adapt to his environment. They would've found more success if they were coaching vet teams like the Steelers, Ravens, or maybe even the Giants. Teams that young are built for a Jim Harbough type...
Also Belli failed in Cleveland. -

all those patriots coaches had one thing in common: Tom Brady. none have succeeded without him. Belichick wasn't much in Cleveland and didn't have a good opening season in New England. and even tho they had a good record when Cassel played for Brady, they still missed the playoffs. If anything is going to be used to try and discredit his legacy, it should be more about him having Tom Brady and not about him having other teams play calling signs

Why does Belichick have to be held accountable for his assistant's not having success as head coaches? Some coaches in the NFL are better coordinators than they are HC's. Only thing that matters is when they are working directly with Bill, they win. May not win it all, but they win.

Belichick = Popovich.

A coach's assistants not being successful head coaches is actually a good thing. Proves that he was the real architect.
On the flip side -- how well did Parcells do without any of his most notable assistants? (Such as Belichik.) -
Lol @ "questioning how good of a coach he is"
He's probably going to end his career with most playoff wins ever by a head coach -
? him #Pause

Folks today kust haye for mo reason. So b/c his sssistants failed that makes him a bad coach? Tf type of logic is that

Ever since SpyGate he has not won a Super Bowl. He is not the greatest nowhere near Walsh.

The fact that that's the standard he's held up to proves his greatness.
