i cant imagine worst traffic than chicago. when i gotta be at work at 8am i have to leave almost an hour early just to drive 2 and a half miles. and the I-90 never seems to not be congested during all hours of the day.

I don't know if you can say that. If that was the case, Detroit should have split with DC and ATL in some of those areas since they are at least as much known for being Black cities as Detroit is. I think Detroit just has a bad reputation as a city. If Detroit was still the city it was back when Motown was big and the auto industry was still healthy, I doubt it would be looked at as lowly even though it was largely black back then too. You got to remember, Detroit was basically turned into the poster child for cities falling into decay.
And you think its coincidental that the countrys blackest city has been made the poster child for everything wrong with american cities
Lots of ? have gone into that man. I'd say the fiasco with the auto industry was just as damning for the city as the number of black people. Again, if it was just about race, then DC and ATL would be catching some of that hate too because they are generally known to be Chocolate cities too.
