Football ruined everything about college bball. Now every major conference has atleast 12 teams in it.
-
footballl killed the big east; but in the 80s the conference had the gulliest teams in both sports..hoyas in basketball and the miami in football

Exactly. They are kinda acting like the Big East didn't have any reputable football.........
They had Miami, McNabb era Syracuse, Virginia Tech in, before and directly after the Vick era..........
they stayed with at least 1 team in the top 15, and most years, top 10.

I feel u but Miami was indy until 1991.
I remember back then is felt like most of the national black community were Hoyas fans. After GTown most jumped to UNLV. Then it went to Michigan for a couple of years.
This also showed how weak the nba is now in regards to physical play.

I could've sworn that Georgetown was a black school when I was young. Those Thompson-coached teams were some of the first major teams where I remember it being all ? . I can't remember a white boy that ever played for Georgetown lol.
-
lol I think a lot of people thought g town was a black school
-
College basketball aint the same

John Thompson's Hoya > Fab 5
Culturally speaking.
What Jalen and co did was great but they overrate themselves: baggy shorts hiphop black socks, ? out of here.
Even Nolan Richardsons 94 and 95 who was ? with them? -

? Jalen. He was known as the 3rd best on that squad.
It was never Jalen and co.
It was C Webb and co lol. -
Also, Fab Five got their swag and style from UNLV.
