At first that ? was cool now, its getting played with that 24 hours...how long can this possibly last. I know some producers have that distinct sound like timbaland drums but this dude just using the same 3 or 4 keys or samples or whateva he using.

He has no classic beats....

I've said it a few times but The Invasion>>>>>>>>>>>
league of stars too, mustard got some cool ? here n there tho -
loyal isnt his beat, those other two are some of his most jammin tho
-
And what's really interesting is that two of the most played songs of the radio and arguably one of the biggest rap songs of the year, Iggy's Fancy and Breezy's Loyal are both songs that the public could've swore Mustard produced but he didn't. Think about that.

give the young man some time
-
Same thing could be said for DJ Premeir and every other producer. Everyone has a sound!
-
This dude takes the cake for oversimplified repititive beats. Gotta give him props on his hit making though and see if he becomes more versatile.
-
you can tell who his influences are.....most of his production sounds like late 90's early 2000 Lil jon beats.....before he was known outside of south

NIC Nac produced loyal I think -
Those don't sound like samples of show me love
he probably just used a similar ?
I know Nexus comes with one in the presets that can be tweaked -

Your right. In the production world it's called an interpolation. He jus replayed it with a similar synth. He did a good job of flippin' it imo, from slowing the tempo, breakdown and all.

Dude needs to switch his sound up a bit tho.
I like his ? but he'll end up like these other beat makers/producers who's hot for a min then fall off if he don't switch his sound up. -

Yeah i kinda like comparing dude against Mike Will i think Mustard not going '10 summers', but I can see Mike Will lasting for a while -
I thought the same thing til I listened to YG's album. He actually has some beats on there that don't sound like typical Mustard beats. I think he said on the Breakfast Club he's only been producing a few years

Yeah, but that's only if he doesn't switch his style/sound up.
You already got people thinking that he produced "Loyal". Soon other beat makers/producers are going to come out with his sound, reinvent/put their own twist to it, then they'll be the next DJ Mustard/big producer etc.
Bruh says he's trying to switch his sound up so he won't fall off. So we'll see.
