Nobody ever know what they talkin about when they criticizin
lol what are u saying here? nobody has said anything that goes against what he says in these videos. the criticism on him is he needs to change up more often and its overly simplistic, these videos help validate that argument, hell in one of em all he did was drop drum sounds on a beat, his brother shoulda got for puttin in them few lil sounds. bruh i think u might need to retire from commenting on production
I need to retire? ? u don't even know what people be talkin about when they say "there's a difference between a Producer and a Beat-Maker". U just blindly agree.
You probably haven't even read the credits on YG's album. If did then you'd know that there's about 3 or 4 Producers on every track. If you actually watched the video then you'd see he says he'd rather produce Albums and not Singles. If you actually heard "My Krazy Life" then you'd know how rich the instrumentals are - I said Instrumentals not Beats
U a bop, fall back
im not seeing all these production credits u talkin about
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Krazy_Life
where have i brought up the argument of producer vs beat-maker in this thread ? ?
i been watched these videos weeks ago, i think i actually posted one on here myself, so i know all about the talk of him rather produce albums than singles, all that other ? u sayin has nothing to do with the post i directed towards u or any of the other criticism in this thread u idiot, so again i ask u, what the ? are u tryna do, besides validate whats already been brought up, u can call ? bops all u want, fact remains yo ? ass has been sonned all over this sub forum when it comes to talking about production, better find u sum to talk about that u actually kno bout like gettin yo ass ate or sum n/h. -

this is an example of what i meant, he say on my ? , he just came in and did the drums after someone else did the sounds, whoever did the sounds should have at least gotten a main production credit imo. mustard a co producer there
i give mustard props for goin in after a record is recorded and tweaking it to how he wants it, id do the same, but when it comes to his actual sound, it leaves something to be desired imo -
This ? MoneyLuver must have lost his virginity to that YG album or something the way he's caping it.

I'll cape over great pieces of art. That album was excellently executed.

u got it bruh.
there needs to be an age requirement or some ? on here. -
As he (Mustard) gets more experience in the industry, he'll meet other producers and beat makers, his influences will grow, and his sound will evolve....
Blame these artist for chasing the same sound.
Let the man cook tho... rather make the same sound and get paid then punch a fvkn clock everyday. -

Let the man cook tho... rather make the same sound and get paid then punch a fvkn clock everyday.
And that's another thing too. Most of these artist want the same sounding ? .
I believe Mustard might have some different ? but these artist don't want to take a chance with em.
I think 9th wonder was talking about that in a video. He was like "I got some different ? but they want my old ? ...I mean...I ain't gon turn down a check...". lol.
Regardless, ? gets stale over time and he's gon have to switch it up eventually.
-
There's a difference between having a "sound" and having a style or nuances.
-
i dont even like mustard but yall ? say that about every ? non-east coast producer that come out, preemo and all them ? sound the same on every beat too, every producer got a sound ?
? blame NY/east for everything. The Bay mad at mustard and you people will say " Yo it's Biggie fault". -
