Concept Art Emerges For Canceled Sledgehammer Call Of Duty Project

When we visited Sledgehammer Games last month for the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare cover story, the studio was very candid about the project it canceled to join forced with Infinity Ward to complete Modern Warfare 3. The game, set in Cambodia and Laos during the Vietnam War, focused on the horrors of war, throwing gamers into the dense jungles and cramped underground tunnels. Now, concept art has emerged from the project to give us a glimpse of this tone.

IGN spotted the online portfolio of concept artist Eddie Del Rio, who worked on the project with Sledgehammer Games back in 2009. Check out the art here, and click on any of the images to see expanded versions.
