To deny a strong social network for the rich is to be naive but an illuminati in the concept as we have always heard it, you know devil worshipping, blood sacrifices etc doesn't exist.
It's more of a working relationship powerful people have with each other through connections and other organizations like colleges, fraternities and other mixers. -
Because people feel more disnefranchises and voiceless than ever before.

stand up to what lol -
Ppl think they r so clever.
" if it's a secret, how do ppl know about it"...
A better question is why don't ppl do ? about all the things that r common knowledge? -
People who ask: What do we do? don't need to be fighting anything yet but the urge to not read books.
There are lies and truths added to the story of illuminati which are powerful of itself, But how strong is a person's passion to actually "know" whats going on, well depends entirely on that person.
-
same exact reason most/majority people believe in ? /higher power, they need something to blame for their faults and ignorance. So they basically create a scapegoat
-
I don't think people have trouble with the idea there's a powerful group behind decisions that affect millions. It's when people start saying ? like Kanye West mother died as a sacrifice so his career could get bigger that people call ? on
-
There is a secret society, but there aren't any damn R&B singers & rappers in it.
The Rothschild's & Rockefeller's of the world aren't letting go of their grip on things. -

As ya boy Rex said in "If the Illuminati Is a Secret Society That Controls the World....."http://community.allhiphop.com/discussion/494654/if-the-illuminati-is-a-secret-society-that-controls-the-world/p1
The muthafuckas that control the world are powerful banking and financial interests, OPEC, and the major world economic powers. For the most part they operate pretty much in the open, all you have to do is read certain publications, like The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The Economist, Foreign Policy, in addition to watching currency markets. You might want to watch the Sunday morning news programs to.
Belief in the Illuminati is something for simple minded ? to explain away why black people on the whole hasn't progressed as a people, (and as a result why the individual who believe in the Illuminati,) are po' broke and strugglin'. Now what I do believe is that these powerful interests allows this belief of a all encompassing, all powerful cabal of white men to exists because it's a distraction. If the masses believe that power if in the hands of a few and they're not giving that power up, then masses will feel hopeless to enact some sort of change. It goes back to that old Roman analogy "panem et circenses," bread and circuses. ? have their "Love and Hip Hop" reality TV franchises and they're eating, as long as the masses are content, can get their bills paid, they could careless about local, state, let alone national and global affairs.
Now if you were to dispel or completely debunk the existence of the Illuminati, then focus would be shift to those that are real power brokers. Then some hard questions have to be answered, like
1) Why was F.D.R. allowed to take off of the gold standard?
2) Why was Nixon allowed to unilaterally cancel the convertibility of U. S. dollars to gold, which was replaced with the intangibility that is fiat currency and credit? (which was a bigger and more heinous crime than Watergate in my opinion?
3) Why are foreign banking interests allowed to devalue the U. S. dollar?
4) Why did we let the Chinese take all of our gold?
If you take away the belief of an Illuminati and muthafuckas find out what's REALLY going on, this mutafucka (the United States, and possibly the world,) is on some apocalyptic Mad Max, Fist of the North Star, 1999 status over night and revolution will ensue and when I say revolution, I'm talking that French-Revolution-Reign-of-Terror-draining-? out-on-to-the-street-summarily-executing-muthafuckas-and-then-hanging-their-corpses-in-gas-station-a-la-Mussolini-type-revolution.

Secret societies exist in the same breath that fraternities exist, its no different favor for favor and pay your dues.
The reason illuminati paranoia is because most people in the west are christians.
The ancient order of the illuminati were enemies of the roman church. -
The Illuminati, if it truly ever existed, was against the dark age, ignorance, and the grip that the Roman Catholic Church held over the people, mainly in Italy I would have to imagine. Enlightenment was their goal. Think the Renaissance and the change that was brought.

Illuminati is real...... pac said KILLuminati .... ..
he also did an interview where he said he did not believe in the Illuminati and could not understand how ? in jail would try to explain it to him when they are locked up, that is why he said killuminati, meaning to ? off all that nonsense about it -

The historical illuminati were based in the state of Bavaria, in Germany. Their main beef was with the church like you mentioned, and the Rosicrucians. They were probably among the first to believe in scientific atheism, but not publicly, which would have been suicidal in their times. -
Of course there's no such thing as illuminati.
They're actually called corporations. -
Not saying its as deep as the conspiracies say it is but you'd be an idiot to think there isnt a global elite that use their influence to make rules that benefit them and get richer and stronger while doing it.there are many many secret societies most with no name
This. -

Illuminati is Latin for light bearer or bringer, the original Illuminati was group that rebelled against the Roman Catholic Church. They were responsible for getting the Bible into the hands of the common people. Hence bringing the light to the people. In those times common people could not have a bible on hand and the RCC ruled the world with an iron fist their rule was moreso law than government and royalty.

The Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is a name given to several groups, both real and fictitious. Historically, the name refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on May 1, 1776. The society's goals were to oppose superstition, prejudice, religious influence over public life and abuses of state power, and to support women's education and gender equality. The Illuminati—along with other secret societies—were outlawed by the Bavarian ruler, Charles Theodore, with the encouragement of the Roman Catholic Church, and were permanently disbanded in 1785.[1] In the several years following, the group was vilified by conservative and religious critics who claimed that they had regrouped and were responsible for the French Revolution.
In subsequent use, "Illuminati" refers to various organisations which claim or are purported to have links to the original Bavarian Illuminati or similar secret societies, though these links are unsubstantiated. They are often alleged to conspire to control world affairs, by masterminding events and planting agents in government and corporations, in order to gain political power and influence and to establish a New World Order. Central to some of the most widely known and elaborate conspiracy theories, the Illuminati have been depicted as lurking in the shadows and pulling the strings and levers of power in dozens of novels, movies, television shows, comics, video games and music videos.

History
The Owl of Minerva perched on a book was an emblem used by the Bavarian Illuminati in their "Minerval" degree.
The Illuminati movement was founded on May 1, 1776 in Ingolstadt, Upper Bavaria as the Order of the Illuminati, and had an initial membership of five.[2] The founder was the Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt (d. 1830),[3] who was the first lay professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt.[1] The Order was made up of freethinkers as an offshoot of the Enlightenment and seems to have been modelled on the Freemasons.[4] Illuminati members took a vow of secrecy and pledged obedience to their superiors. Members were divided into three main classes, each with several degrees, and many Illuminati chapters drew membership from existing Masonic lodges.
The goals of the Illuminati were to eliminate superstition, prejudice and the ? of government, philosophy and science by the Roman Catholic Church, to reduce oppressive state abuses of power, and to support the education of women and encourage their treatment as intellectual equals.[1] Weishaupt's original plan was for the Order to be named the "Perfectibilists".[2] The group has also been called the Bavarian Illuminati and its ideology "Illuminism".
Many influential intellectuals and progressive politicians counted themselves as members, including Ferdinand of Brunswick and the diplomat, who was the Order's second-in-command.[5] The Order had branches in most European countries and reportedly had around 2,000 members over a span of ten years.[1] It attracted literary men such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Johann Gottfried Herder and the reigning dukes of Gotha and Weimar.
In 1777, Karl Theodor became ruler of Bavaria. He was a proponent of Enlightened Despotism and his government banned all secret societies including the Illuminati. Internal rupture and panic over succession preceded the society's downfall.[1] A government edict dated March 2, 1785 "seems to have been deathblow to the Illuminati in Bavaria". Weishaupt had fled and documents and internal correspondence, seized in 1786 and 1787, were subsequently published by the government in 1787.[6] Von Zwack's home was searched and much of the group's literature was disclosed.[5
Yea that's who im talking about. They sound good on paper but there's a letter written by George Washington that describes their plans as "diabolical" so ill respect. His judgement -

Yeah, of course I believe that. However, I just think it's groups of people that are greedy. Plus the government also. I just don't believe in the Illuminati ? .
So you believe in the Illuminati then! That's just the name. The ideas and powers that certain people hold is the basis of the 'Illuminati'. You might not believe in the sacrifice ? and some of the rituals. Doesn't matter what you name it, there are people with very long money who want to run ? their way and they use their money to make it happen. Slowly but surely, hence the covert nature of most of the changes that you don't see and the ? excuses for the changes out in the open or 'exposed'. -

This is the true issue. The uncertainty. Whether you believe or not is irrelevant if you cant prove your stance. The only way to know is to join, and thats under the assumption these groups exist. But like.bohemian grove, those people apart of it won't.spill the beans. all we have is speculation lol.
Everyone in here should watch the movie The Conspiracy on Netflix. Its gives a pretty Intersting perspective on this topic. @DWO
