Jim Starlin and Ron Marz started the horrible trend of everyone jobbing to Thanos to the point its a character trait that he's nigh unbeatable. -

The Hulk and Dumb Drax were below Thanos to begin with. I'd say jobbing comes into play when he lasts more than a minute fighting Odin or Galactus. Usually when he fights those guys, he's using some form of prep or enhancements, much like Batman

And Thanos Beats Herald levels to near death in a couple punches so I don't see how him surviving against Odin and Galactus is far fetched -

Your problem is you think the heralds are stronger than they actually are. Throughout the years thanos has punked herald level characters. That isn't jobbing.
