Brooklyn rapper whose boisterous “Shmoney Dance” has been copied by megawatt stars like Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and even Peyton Manning — was quietly busted for allegedly having a loaded weapon earlier this year, The Post has learned.
Bobby Shmurda, 20, who spouts violent lyrics, such as, “We keep 9 millis on my block, n—-s/Known to get busy with them Glocks, n—–,” was collared with a 9mm Glock pistol when cops spotted him showing off the weapon in a Brownsville apartment on June 3, court papers say.
Despite the loud boasts in his rap lyrics, Shmurda — whose real name is Ackquille Pollard — allegedly tried to hide the gun in a couch. But it was too late and cops busted him, according to the court papers.
He was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, which can bring up to 15 years in prison.
His hit song “Hot N—–” blew up in large part thanks to his hat-tossing and arms-akimbo “Shmoney Dance” in the song’s music video.
Superstar rapper Drake brought Shmurda on stage at a New Jersey concert Tuesday night so they could do the dance together.
A defense attorney for Shmurda, who is free on $10,000 bail, could not be reached on Thursday.

Article says he made bail.. -
Ahhhh, he caught that case before he blew, shmoney dance ain't even go viral at the time...pretty sure the label knew of his legal trouble before they signed him so it must not be that serious of a matter or they wouldntve invested in someone they knew would soon be going to prison...this just lends credence to his street credibility to those who thought he just waves finger guns at the camera and don't really tote em...
Anyway...beam jawn!! *red dot, red dot*
Ahh Ahhh Ahhhh!! -
I'm not hating on the brotha, but I don' get all this buzz around him. His music sounds like that Chicago ? . Oh well, hope he can stay outta trouble.

I was wondering what happen to Gunz. He seems like he's not bout that life. He just carried to protect himself. I don't like Shmurda's music at all, and I don't wish jail on anyone but when you gon on about that life, you gotta face the consequences.
