X-Men: Apocalypse, the upcoming movie from the blockbuster mutant movie franchise, won't premiere before 27 May 2016, but spoilers about the movie's plot keep coming to elate Wolverine fans.

There are reports that Hugh Jackman may return as Weapon X, as the movie's plotline is somewhat based on the classic graphic novel Age of Apocalypse.

The movie is expected to bring lots of surprises, along with bringing back Jean Grey and Cyclops, who died in X-Men 3, Storm and Nightcrawler, Ecumenicalnews reported.

Enstars suspects that the latest X-Men instalment will mark the reinvention of Jackman's Wolverine.

The rumoured movie plot

The movie is rumoured to explore the character of Apocalypse, who was born as the first mutant in Egypt with the 'X gene', which grants mutants superpowers.

However, the movie production house is yet to confirm the speculations.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Bryan Singer and producer-writer Simon Kinberg teased fans about how big the movie will be.

"From a visual standpoint it actually may be a bigger movie than Days of Future Past, because there'll be disaster movie imagery, like the title would imply," Singer said.

Singer also hinted that the movie X-Men: Days of the Future Past contains clues about the Apocalypse movie.

"You won't feel at the end of the movie that it set up Apocalypse. What it does is it sets up possibilities. But what we'll discover in Apocalypse is that events in this movie made that happen," Singer told EW.

"Apocalypse deals with ancient mutancy. What would humans have thought mutants were? What would mutants think humans were? You're dealing with gods and things like that. And what if one survived and what if that found its way into our world?" he added.

Jackman said he wouldn't return as Wolverine tho.... so to me that tells me if they gonna reinvent the role they might find someone new.

Maaannnn I'm not sure I can imagine anyone else as Wolverine tho :( , Jackman was made for that role maaaannn. I hope they actually do Cyclops right, I feel like the cartoons painted him as a ? when in fact, he's a real ass ? and a good leader.

Man on them cartoons when something happened to Jean and Wolverine would yell out "Jean". Ol simp ass.

In regards to that article, I could see Jackman doing this next X-Men movie then Wolverine 3 and calling it a wrap after that.

Last I heard they were setting up Channing Tatum to take over as the face of the franchise as Gambit.

This franchise would have been perfect to spinoff certain characters outside of wolverine to have their own movies or a team up (at least 2 of the main mutants) and have them explore the world more. Its too congested and there was very little room for character development.

He said for the Next Wolverine movie.. It depends on the script.. If he likes the script.. He will be back. But also said he probably be his last.. He also said he want to dream to be in some of the Avengers movies.. Cause as you know.. Some of the X Men where in the Avengers(they came later though) .. Like Wolverine.. and such. As well as spiderman and them cats..

They were going to do a Magneto orgin but the ? got deaded after the fail that was Wolverine: Orgins.

They basically took some of the stuff in it and put it into First Class

One thing I have a complaint about Magneto.. That in the comics.. Magneto was build like a weightlifter.. He wasn't frail or dead looking like they made him in the X men Movies. Plus.. I think they could of made more Depth of his powers. Like being able to manipulate electromagnetic fields, Control electromagnetic pulses(turn invisible) Create Magnetic force fields beside Magnetism/Metal manipulation. The man is Atomic Level afterall..

This is the exact reason why I hate the franchise, as well as other superheroes in the movie with pis (plot induced stupidity).

As good as McKellen and Fassbinder have been they definitely missed the mark on the character. Magneto wasn't a ? joke.

I hope Apocalypse changes to the one we see in the comics with the armor and they get Adebesi from Oz whatever his name is to play Apocalypse.

Cosigned the ? out of this post.

Magneto and cable are my favorites. I been done said they made magneto look like ? . Look like a old ass cancer patient with a underwhelming ? looking helmet on. His whole attitude is off and nobody fears him too. He supposed to be flying around in a force field bubble looking like a boss!! He supposed to be talking down on people and acting cocky as hell.

I was hoping for cable but now I'm not. They probably gonna get one of them dudes from twilight to play him or some ? . I have a good feeling they gonna ? up apocalypse too. Movies have a bad habit of ? up the bad guys appearance. They better get broc lesner from W.W.F to play him or something.
