Why is there no proof of the supposed plagues, a parted Red Sea, Jewish slaves in Egypt, Moses, etc?

Why does the bible mention Egyptian cities that didn't even exist at the same time?

How could thousands of people live wandering through a desert for 40 years?

Somebody get in here and make up an excuse for this imaginary tale.
At the time the Egyptians worshiped many Gods. So to bring an answer to them by means of the plagues that he visited upon the Egyptians, Jehovah humiliated and executed judgment upon their gods. The first plague, the turning of the Nile and all the waters of Egypt into blood, brought disgrace to the Nile-? Hapi. The death of the fish in the Nile was also a blow to Egypt’s religion, for certain kinds of fish were actually venerated and even mummified. (Ex 7:19-21) The frog, regarded as a symbol of fertility and the Egyptian concept of resurrection, was considered sacred to the frog-goddess Heqt. Hence, the plague of frogs brought disgrace to this goddess. (Ex 8:5-14) The third plague saw the magic-practicing priests acknowledging defeat when they proved to be unable by means of their secret arts to turn dust into gnats. (Ex 8:16-19) The ? Thoth was credited with the invention of magic or secret arts, but even this ? could not help the magic-practicing priests to duplicate the third plague.

The line of demarcation between the Egyptians and the worshipers of the true ? came to be sharply drawn from the fourth plague onward. While swarms of gadflies invaded the homes of the Egyptians, the Israelites in the land of Goshen were not affected. (Ex 8:23, 24) The next plague, the pestilence upon the livestock, humiliated such deities as the cow-goddess Hathor, Apis, and the sky-goddess Nut, who was conceived of as a cow having the stars affixed to her belly. (Ex 9:1-6) The plague of boils brought disgrace to the gods and goddesses regarded as possessing healing abilities, such as Thoth, Isis, and Ptah. (Ex 9:8-11) The severe hailstorm put to shame the gods who were considered to have control of the natural elements; for example, Reshpu, who, it appears, was believed to control lightning, and Thoth, who was said to have power over the rain and thunder. (Ex 9:22-26) The locust plague spelled defeat for the gods thought to ensure a bountiful harvest, one of these being the fertility ? Min, who was viewed as a protector of the crops. (Ex 10:12-15) Among the deities disgraced by the plague of darkness were sun-gods, such as Ra and Horus, and also Thoth the ? of the moon and believed to be the systematizer of sun, moon, and stars.—Ex 10:21-23.

The death of the firstborn resulted in the greatest humiliation for the Egyptian gods and goddesses. (Ex 12:12) The rulers of Egypt actually styled themselves as gods, the sons of Ra, or Amon-Ra. It was claimed that Ra, or Amon-Ra, had intercourse with the queen. The son born was, therefore, viewed as a ? incarnate and was dedicated to Ra, or Amon-Ra, at his temple. Hence, the death of Pharaoh’s firstborn, in effect, actually meant the death of a ? . (Ex 12:29) This in itself would have been a severe blow to Egypt’s religion, and the complete impotence of all the deities was manifested in their being unable to save the firstborn of the Egyptians from death.

Fascinating stuff. So all the stuff going on in the Middle East must mean the certain death and humiliation of the Christian ? then. After all, most Christians have been chased out of the Holy Land, and they're being humiliated, ? and murdered up and down the Middle East on a daily basis now. I guess the other gods got their payback on the Bible ? ? After all, the Bible ? is impotent as hell when it comes to how his followers are being sonned on the daily there now.

What a ? . believers of the christian ? are taught to die for their faith all this has been prophesied. the story is not over there are millions of christians in the world and israel still exist

Stop lying you ? idiot. One minute the Bible ? is a war ? , like you claimed before, now the next he's some meek ? that wants his followers to die a martyr death. Which one is it dum dum? If it's both then the Bible ? is more sadistic then even I thought it was. The Bible ? WANTS his followers to be ? and beheaded on a daily basis now? Wow, how sad and pathetic.

I've learned the Book of Exodus is basically made up mostly of falsehoods and exaggerations. I've also learned why Christianity and Judaism are made fun of a lot and not taken seriously by most, especially in America.

I achieved satisfaction learning these things.

No actually Jehovah is not interfering with mankind problems at least not yet. First you have to start with the beginning an important question was raised. Satan did not call into question Jehovah’s power. Even Satan knows that there is no limit to Jehovah’s power. Rather, Satan questioned ? 's right to rule. By calling ? a liar who withholds good from his subjects, Satan charged that Jehovah is a bad ruler. Genesis 3:2-5 Satan implied that mankind would be better off without ? ’s rulership. This was an attack on Jehovah’s sovereignty, his right to rule.

Adam and Eve rebelled against Jehovah. In effect, they said: ‘We do not need Jehovah as our Ruler. We can decide for ourselves what is right and what is wrong. How could Jehovah settle that issue? How could he teach all intelligent creatures that the rebels were wrong and that his way truly is best? Someone might say that ? should simply have destroyed the rebels and made a fresh start. But Jehovah had stated his purpose to fill the earth with the offspring of Adam and Eve, and he wanted them to live in an earthly paradise. Genesis 1:28 -Jehovah always fulfills his purposes. Isaiah 55:10, 11 Besides that, getting rid of these rebels in Eden would not have answered the question that had been raised regarding Jehovah’s right to rule

Lets consider an illustration. Imagine that a teacher is telling his students how to solve a difficult problem. A clever but rebellious student claims that the teacher’s way of solving the problem is wrong. Implying that the teacher is not capable, this rebel insists that he knows a much better way to solve the problem. Some students think that he is right, and they also become rebellious. What should the teacher do? If he throws the rebels out of the class, what will be the effect on the other students? Will they not believe that their fellow student and those who joined him are right? All the other students in the class might lose respect for the teacher, thinking that he is afraid of being proved wrong. But suppose that the teacher allows the rebel to show the class how he would solve the problem

Jehovah has done something similar to what the teacher does. Remember that the rebels in Eden were not the only ones involved. Millions of angels were watching. Job 38:7; Daniel 7:10 How Jehovah handled the rebellion would greatly affect all those angels and eventually all intelligent creation. So, what has Jehovah done? He has allowed Satan to show how he would rule mankind. ? has also allowed humans to govern themselves under Satan’s guidance.

The teacher in the illustration knows that the rebel and the students on his side are wrong. But he also knows that allowing them the opportunity to try to prove their point will benefit the whole class. When the rebels fail, all honest students will see that the teacher is the only one qualified to lead the class. They will understand why the teacher thereafter removes any rebels from the class. Similarly, Jehovah knows that all honest hearted humans and angels will benefit from seeing that Satan and his fellow rebels have failed and that humans cannot govern themselves. Like Jeremiah of old, they will learn this vital truth: “I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.”—Jeremiah 10:23.

Keep in mind that this man is very clever, Satan that is, he has been observing mankind from the beginning of time. And when put into effect that he is perfect being you then realize that your not going up against any ordinary thing.

Satan’s design to keep people blind involves his use of false religion. 2 Corinthians 4:4 Man was created by ? with the need to keep in touch with his Creator by means of worship. Satan has deflected this instinct by appealing to selfishness and promoting ignorance of pure religion. To accomplish his purpose he “keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.”- 2 Corinthians 11:14 As a result of such deception, humans engage in thousands of different kinds of false religion.

All false religion is actually a product of Satan, for Paul stated: “The things which the nations sacrifice they sacrifice to demons, and not to ? .” Jesus said: “He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters.” Furthermore, Christ allowed no room for interfaith, but said: “No one comes to the Father except through me.”—1 Corinthians 10:20; Matthew 12:30; John 14:6.

The main problem with what you said is that you have no real proof of what is the real religion and what is false religion. Many people around the world consider Christianity a false religion, and your only proof that Christianity is the one true religion is the Bible. There's not enough evidence to back up what you say. And people would take Christianity more seriously if the Bible ? stop this little hibernation period it's in and just show itself. Until then, people just aren't gonna take the words of the Bible on its own seriously. Too much talk, not enough action. People on Earth wanna see proof and action and in the age of the internet, there is no excuse.

And even if the Bible ? is letting humans do what they want to prove a point that they "need" ? , then it's even more reason to not take seriously the Bible because the Bible ? repeatedly said it would protect his followers and all that of course isn't true. The Bible ? claims to see and know everything ahead of time, so for the Bible ? to be mad at Adam and Eve for rebelling doesn't make any sense. It should have known how flawed its own design was. Words are nice, but action is better. This is the reason why there are so many atheists and non religious people out there. If the Bible ? REALLY wants there to be only one "true" religion, it would stop being lazy, get off its ass and show itself. Until then, it's all hearsay.

You know what I take back what I said before the kjv is tampered with. There are better scripture such as the Gospel of the Holy Twelve and other Essene scripture. The Bible supports a flesh diet that's how you know it's not divine.

Lmao this is so true. One minute he is a killer war ? then in the New Testament he is now all loving. Its obviously not the same ? .

You honestly do not have to study and compare the teachings of all the many religions. You need only learn what the Bible really teaches about true worship. To illustrate: In many lands, there is a problem with counterfeit money. If you were given the job of picking out such false money, how would you go about it? By memorizing every kind of counterfeit? No. Your time would be better spent if you studied real money. After you knew what real money looked like, you could recognize a counterfeit. Similarly, when we learn how to identify the true religion, we can recognize those religions that are false.

Similarly Jesus warned that false prophets would corrupt Christianity. Outwardly, they seem like true worshipers. Their churches claim to be Christian. But you can recognize such people for what they really are. How? Only true worship produces genuine Christians with recognizable qualities and ways

Notice what Jesus explains to his disciples regarding this matter in
(Matthew 7:13-23) 13 “Go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it.
15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits you will recognize those men. 21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’

In other words, those who practice the true religion would be recognized by their beliefs and their conduct.
rue worshippers respect the Bible as ? ’s Word. They strive to live by its principles. So true religion differs from religion that is based on men’s ideas. (Matthew 15:7-9)7 You hypocrites, Isaiah aptly prophesied about you when he said: 8 ‘This people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far removed from me. 9 It is in vain that they keep worshipping me, for they teach commands of men as doctrines.’” So true worshippers do not preach one thing and practice another.

With all that being said, why do so many other dedicated, religious people around the world NOT believe the Bible is ? 's word? It doesn't seem to be as universal a thing as you make it seem, after all, if someone is born in a mostly Muslim land, that person is likely to be Muslim. If someone is born to a Hindu family in India, chances are that person will end up being Hindu for a long time, maybe forever. People can convert true, but a lot of times people convert to being non religious, even after being religious. Albert Einstein, one of the smartest people ever, wrote in his book that he used to be religious and later on became agnostic. Same with other famous people, so there is no universal code on a "true" religion. Not yet at least.

‘ALL RELIGIONS are good,’ many people say. ‘They are simply different roads leading to the same place.’ If this were true, your religion would not really matter, for it would mean that all religions are acceptable to ? . But are they? When Jesus Christ walked the earth, there was a religious group known as the Pharisees. They had built up a system of worship and believed it had ? ’s approval. Yet, at the same time, the Pharisees were trying to ? Jesus! So Jesus told them: “You do the works of your father.” In answer they said: “We have one Father, ? .”—John 8:41.

Was ? really their father? Did ? accept their form of religion? Not at all! Even though the Pharisees had the Scriptures and thought they were following them, they had been misled by the Devil. And Jesus told them so, saying: “You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, . . . he is a liar and the father of the lie.”—John
    8:44.
Clearly, the religion of the Pharisees was false. It served the interests of the Devil, not ? . So rather than viewing their religion as good, Jesus condemned it. He said to those religious Pharisees: “You shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; for you yourselves do not go in, neither do you permit those on their way in to go in.” (Matthew 23:13) Because of their false worship, Jesus called those Pharisees hypocrites and poisonous snakes. Because of their bad course, he said that they were on the way to destruction.—Matthew 23:25-33

So Jesus Christ did not teach that all religions are simply different roads leading to the same place of salvation. A look at the way ? dealt with the nation of Israel makes it clear how important it is to worship ? in the way that he approves. ? warned the Israelites to keep away from the false religion of the nations round about them. (Deuteronomy 7:25) Those people sacrificed their children to their gods, and they engaged in unclean sex practices, including homosexuality. (Leviticus 18:20-30)

What about the hundreds of religions today? Probably you agree that many things done in the name of religion are not approved by ? . During the recent world wars, which millions of persons now living survived, the religions on both sides encouraged their people to ? . “? Germans—do ? them,” said the bishop of London. And, on the other side, the archbishop of Cologne told Germans: “We command you in the name of ? , to fight to the last drop of your blood for the honor and glory of the country.”

So Catholics killed Catholics with the approval of their religious leaders, and Protestants did the same. Clergyman Harry Emerson Fosdick admitted: “Even in our churches we have put the battle flags . . . With one corner of our mouth we have praised the Prince of Peace and with the other we have glorified war.” How do you think ? feels about a religion that claims to do his will but glorifies war

Because of the crimes committed in the name of ? by the members of many different religions throughout history, millions of persons today have turned away from ? and Christ. They blame ? for the terrible religious wars, such as those between Catholics and Muslims called the Crusades, the wars between Muslims and Hindus, and the wars between Catholics and Protestants. They point to the murder of Jews in the name of Christ, and the cruel Catholic inquisitions. Yet, even though the religious leaders responsible for such horrible crimes claimed ? as their Father, were they not just as much children of the Devil as were the Pharisees whom Jesus condemned? Since Satan is the ? of this world, should we not expect that he also controls the religions practiced by people of the world? —2 Corinthians 4:4; among whom the ? of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of ? , might not shine through

You're right in that many people have turned away from religion due to all the chaos, bloodshed, and evil it has inspired over the years. But to say Satan is the ? of this world doesn't mean much when the Bible ? is the one that says it will protect his people and all over the world, has failed to do so. It failed to protect the Native Americans from the evil conquistadors, and it failed to protect the Africans from Germans, Belgiums, British and the French. Ironically, all these Europeans were mostly Christian at the time they did their extreme evil acts. I respect your views but Christianity is tainted by the blood, stench, and evil of its followers over the years. The Bible itself supports evil and the Bible ? gave rules for slavery, forced labor, and Jesus never condemned those actions. If Satan is the ? of this world, then the world would be a much more evil and terrible place if the Bible ? ruled it. One reason why the educated often are very hostile to Christianity and really all Abrahamic religions.

If the Bible ? is indeed real, it needs to prove the ? ITSELF. But because it is too lazy to do so, one as educated as myself cannot take Christianity seriously. Let the Bible ? come down and prove all this naturally, is the Bible ? too impotent to do so? I don't want to worship an impotent being, I'd be wasting my time.

you wouldnt do ? , you couldnt stand the sight of your own face so how in the hell you going to spit in the most high face, and yah wouldnt have to do nothing to you but watch you self destruct on your own unsecurities

HA! No self destruction going on over here, just me doing my thing as usual.
