-he said Take Care is the best hip hop album in the past ten years
-Mike Jones is the best rapper from Texas
-Lil Wayne is top 5
-Drake is #1
post some absurd ? you've heard people say over the years referring to hip hop.

Because "better music" is subjective and it isn't a real way to gauge an emcees skills. And even if they make better music it doesn't make them the better rapper. -

While I'm not a Wayne fan post-2008ish and I don't agree that he's top 5, that's far from an absurd statement. I get why someone would say that. Resume for resume...his stacks up with anyones. -

I remember being in college and this nigguh told me that "Silkk the Shocker is the best rapper ever". If it wasn't for the serious look on his face I would've swore that nigguh was joking. Alas...he wasn't joking. Man I wanted to punch that nigguh in the face for saying that ? ? .
