5.Lance Storm
As evident in the misuse of Dean Malenko the wwe just doesn't appreciate great technical wrestling. Despite have a solid team with William Regal and Chief Morley he never went anywhere on the card. The most disgusting burial happened on June 16, 2003 where Stone Cold encourage the crowd to chant boring. From that point on Lance Storm job to pretty much everyone. In 2005 he would retire from full time wresting. He currently wrestling ever once in a while on indy shows where his talents are greatly appreciated.

4. Scott Steiner
Vince loved to bury wcw wrestlers and Steiner got it the absolute worst. He went from a badass, ? -talking heel to a cookie cutter baby face. Not only was his character completely destroyed but, he still wasn't fully recovered from his foot injury so his matches were terrible. Late in his wwe career the would turn him heel but, it wasn't the awesome heel we loved in wcw it was the bland wwe monster heel we have seen many times over. Luckly in 2006 he would sign with tna and pick up were he left off in wcw.

There already plenty of threads for Steiner's promos but I just had to post this one -
Paul Burchill

(Side note: kristal Marshall was a baaaaaaaaad ? bruh) -
3.Mark Jindrak
One of the top star in CMLL and to think at one point he was signed to the wwe. This guy looked like a bland musclehead but he was actually incredible agile. Of course the wwe never let him show that and force him to wrestle a lame powerhouse style(just like Sean O' Haire). He was originally going to be in Evolution but at the last minute he was switched to the less talented Batista. After he would just be an tag matches or be stables that lead to nowhere until he was let go. -
I saw some of Jindrak in Mexico hes actually quite good. He was young as hell too, it must just be a matter of them not knowing what to do him.
-
Another one of my favorite underutilized guys from that era was Lance Cade.
They were just starting to go with him as jericho's sidekick during his feud with HBK. I remember reading that Cade was supposed to feud with Shawn next, in a classic student vs teacher deal. It all fell through though.
Dude was also damn young (not even 30) when he died. Sad case. -
2. Ultimo Dragon

What kind of paint was creative huffing when were booking Ultimo? Its makes me sick to my stomach on how missused Ultimo was. Seriously any wrestling company on the planet would ? to have Ultimo Dragon on there roster -
Ultimo Dragon the GAWD!!
Dude should have been better utilized but he was in his 40s and in the twilight of his career when he made the jump to WWE.
If he has come in younger I think he would have been a decent star. Ain't much they could do with a 40yr old Cruiserweight though. -
1. Shelton Benjamin
Shelton is definition of underated. First off the split up The World's greatest tag team way too soon(that team was godlike). In 2004 he was drafted to Raw and feuded with Triple H and Triple H even put over. Despite that he would never win the big one. After he was pretty stuck in the midcard hell changing to stupid gimmicks(momma, Gold standard etc..) and a having random U.S title reign(basically what Kofi Kingston does now). -
Paul London
Okay so dude was only 100lbs soaking wet in his boots but he was quite the performer.
I was always a fan of him and Kendrick as a team (one of the best teams of the decade to me) but I always thought he had more to offer as a solo act as well. -
solid list, i also agree with paul london(and kendrick for that matter), he did a couple matches early in the 2000's in a nwa georgia territory called wildside that i first heard of him on, probably STILL the most beautiful shooting star press ive ever seen
-
i might probably add carlito and mvp
-
1. MVP (Complete and WAS LEGIT READY)
2. Sean Ohaire (younger more athletic version of Batista)
Sean O'Haire The Ultimate Promo

3. Mr. Kennedy (complete package like MVP)
4. Matt Morgan (basically the answer to Brock)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZllCeT3UpJw
5. Carlito (complete package like MVP and Kennedy)
6. Shelton Benjamin (Bret Hart with HBK's athleticism, didn't need mic skills, he coulda been a legit in ring bad ass who let his in ring work do all the talking)
7. Matt Hardy (shoulda been WWE's version of DDP deserved it after his feud with MVP)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBYJKVs8_Tw
8. Heidenreich (shoulda ended up being Sheamus wih more personality. Could play legit crazy and legit fun guy. He was like Rybak mixed with Eugene in a weird way. All is he really is known for is ? Michael Cole as his legacy really)
-
Those matches MVP had with the guy who WWE will not speak of over the U.S Title showed that he could go in the ring and then they ? all over him by giving him that long ass losing streak where nobody took him serious anymore
-
underrated and misused aren't always synonymous
wrestling fans recognized most of these dudes in ring or mic skills. I can't tell you how many times I've heard Shelton was underrated. if everybody is saying he's underrated, people obviously see his talent
they just worked in a company where in ring talent don't mean ? -
Those matches Scott Steiner had with HHH were atrocious :-&
-
I don't think Mr Kennedy was misused he was just always injured and missed too much time
-
Sheldon Benjamin could have been a black HBK. Young, cocky, and talented. Hell remember when HBK was his mystery opponent on Raw? They put on a classic.
There was a chemistry between the two that was never explored for whatever reason.
FULL-LENGTH MATCH - Raw - Shawn Michaels vs. Shel…: http://youtu.be/SMKxYoFzAjg -
HBK vs Benjamin is probably the GOAT Raw TV match.
I think Benjamin, MVP, Kennedy, and Carlito are kind obvious choices so I didn't mention them.
If you question MVP being the most prepared to main event then check out this:

1. Shelton Benjamin
2. Luther Reigns
3. Booker T
4. Mark Jindrak
5. Sean O'Haire -
I'll never forget when scsa cane down and led the boring chant. I thought it was one of the most disrespectful things I'd ever seen
-
"show me a ? expression!!"
what made that segment even more etherous was that it was true.yall won't admit it and you'll cape for lance storm due to his in ring ability. yeah he could go in the ring but so could a lot of wrestlers and their in ring work was more entertaining to watch *angle, lesnar, benoit, jericho, benjamin etc*
"if I could be serious for a minute..." -

Truth. Lance Storm isn't built for entertainment, I'd cut his boring ass too. Skills went out the window in the 70's. Lance Storm can't entertain an idea. -
i thought lance was aight entertainment wise in wcw tho
