Salt-N-Pepa looked delicious in that Shoop video, I remember loving their milf ? when that ? came out.
Salt >>>> Spinderella and Pepa -
That ? used to happen all the time, most the time the rapper wouldn't even have his name featured on the credits in the video. Then you most likely didn't see or hear from the rapper ever again.

They cant perform that song anymore. Salt says "12 inches to a yard, have me screaming like a ? ." -
Salt was Bad!
ill let Pepa ? -
They used to make songs like this all the time when I was coming up. Here's one that I remember from high school. It's by Tony Toni Tone (Raphael Sadiq's group). It would have been so much better if they got a popular rapper like LL Cool J.
Feels Good - Tony Toni Tone featuring an unknown rapper @ 3:04

Just for the record, from my recollection, the first songs that featured good, well known rappers with skills was Friends by Jody Watley feat Rakim and If I'm Not Your Lover by Al B Sure feat Slick Rick.
However, New Edition, and later Bell Biv Devoe made some songs where they did the rapping themselves and the results were classic. -

Here's one of the earliest R&B songs that featured an unknown rapper. It came out in 1981 and was a classic then and now. It still gets play on the grown folks station and can pack a dance floor for the grown and sexy. I don't even think this song got a mention on Ego Trip's book of Rap Lists for 1981.

Two of the videos you posted shouldn't count.
The rapper for C&C Music Factory's name was Freedom. He was a member of the group and rapped on all of the early songs. not sure what happened to him.
The lead rapper for Snap was Turbo B. He was German and they made a whole album. It was pretty popular when I was a Senior in high school although I wasn't into it. I thought Chill Rob G would have smoked Turbo B in a battle. -
I thought about this earlier in the week.
Just that now, the random rapper has now made a career for themselves.....and the industry has suffered because of it. -
some of these don't qualify, but ok...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Power_(Snap!_song)#BackgroundThe song contains samples from "Let the Words Flow" by Chill Rob G, "Love's Gonna Get You" by Jocelyn Brown,[4] and "King Of The Beats" by Mantronix. To compensate Wild Pitch Records for the unauthorized sampling of Chill Rob G's line "It's gettin kinda hectic!" a deal was struck allowing Wild Pitch to use Snap's music for their own song. This version of "The Power" is credited to "The Power Jam featuring Chill Rob G". Wild Pitch simply took Snap's song and incorporated more of the vocals from "Let the Words Flow" at the expense of Turbo B's and Penny Ford's vocals. Jocelyn Brown also confirmed legal action because of the unauthorized sampling.
Interesting. -

It's crazy how full force ended up writing a lot of ? for the backstreet boys and N'snyc..... -
This song was the bomb when it came out and the MC came correct. makes you wonder how it would have came out if they used a popular MC? Also, whatever happened to this guy?
I remember hearing he was with a group called The Rotten Razcals. let me do a wiki check to see if that's true
Anyway, he goes in @ 2:50

Full Force produced Roxanne Roxanne by UTFO and Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam.
They were actually a force to be reckoned with in the mid 80s. -
How about dude from MJ's Black & White?

Ok, I just did a wiki search. The R&B group Zhane was basically Naughty By Nature's group. They only had one hit (Hey Mr DJ). The rapper from that song was from the Rottin Razcals who were also affiliated and executive produced by Treach/Naughty By Nature. But they were basically a dud. they never had any hits but I'm sure if you go to YouTube you could find one of their videos. -
i always swore the ? in Snap was ving raymes before he lost his hair
