Will Shields has to get in before Pace, though Pace more dominant over a short period.
Shields excellence was over a longer period.
Think Randall McDaniel vs Larry Allen.
LA da goat, but RMD played at a top level longer. -
Theses hall of fames are stupid as ? ...just an opportunity for these diva ass pretentious sports writers to feel important ...muthafuckas just make rules up as they go along ..ain't no order or mandates to insure te validity of the voting process ..it's just ? out there doing what they want to do ...The fact that it took a ? like Chris Carter all them years to get in is a testament to that
-
The voting should be done by all surviving HOF players and front office people exclusively

Lol at Barry Sanders too
He wa the greatest runner ever but not running back
He had good hands. They didn't throw it a lot but he was very capable.
He wasnt a complete back.. to watch him run was just crazy I dont understand what you dont get
He ran, picked up pass protections (which he never gets credit for) and his skills out of the backfield were never on full display because they never threw him the ball. And very few running backs were catching the ball out of the backfield during that time anyway. What more do you want? -
He wasnt known for his blocking lets talk about what he didnt not what he didnt have an opportunity to do thats an If Barry is a top 5 back no doubt but he wasnt an all around back
-
Warner
Haley
Tim Brown
Seau
Atwater
Pace
Bettis
Dungy (First Black coach to win a SB and be in HOF = Black Excellence) -

Yeah and even the whole receiving thing is blown out of proportion and agenda driven. Barry avg 19.1 ypg for a career on a 2.3 reception per game avg. Meanwhile a guy like Emmitt is lauded for receiving skills meanwhile boasts a 15 ypg on 2.4 receptions a game (and that's excluding Arizona years).
And stats aren't everything but eye test shows that Barry was more than capable when called upon to receive as well. So this not a case where stats don't support actual substance.
That Barry argument has always been more fluff than actual substance.

Kurt Warner is a first ballot hall of famer.
-
This ngga playmaker tryin too hard. All over the damn place. 'Tiki Barber is 1st ballot, Faulk was a system back...barry sanders the greatest runner, but not greatest rb.' Enough. Do YOU know what u talkin bout...

19,000 yards / 110 TD's >>> Ambiguous ass terms like "complete back"
? love brining up this silly type of ? or meaningless terms whenever trying to discredit someone's actual on field/court production -
The Wiz is a lock to go in, and Tim Brown time is now
-
Kurt had some down years after he left da rams hes a hall of famer but not 1st ballot, Tim Brown shoulda BEEN in tho
-

Thanks..
Random as ? .. wtf -
The disrespect the HOF has shown Tim Brown is just wrong. ? the HOF if Kurt Warner goes in 1st ballot. He borderline IMO anyway.
No QB's on that list should get in right now.
WR's - Marvin Harrison, Sterling Sharpe - both should be in.
RB's - Jerome Bettis, Roger Craig (1st RB ever to do 1,000 rec. & rushing in same season)
OL - O. Pace is a lock, Will Shields might get in this year
DL - Jerome Brown - Sentimental career cut short but was one the best while playing
LB - Junior Seau is a lock
DB's - None
Kickers - I don't care
Coaches - I don't care -

With the Giants he had some down years. Are you forgetting his tenure with the Cardinals??? -

It wasn't all sweet with the Cardinals either. He was benched in favor of Matt Leinart. His tenure with the rams ended with him losing his job in favor of Marc Bulger.

Still remember Jevon Kearse rookie year. He was so fast everyone thought he was jumping offsides.
Smh @ Toni boselli. I guarantee you david Carr won't ever vote him into the hof. Dude signed that huge contract with the texans and never played one single snap.
Did tiki barber ever win a Super Bowl? Or did he retire the year the giants won it all? -
