    i honestly think RDR will get GOTY by a LOT of sites and magazines, like U2 got for 2009. They would always rather give it to multiplatform games, but everyone knew U2 could not be denied last year, except for the 1 or 2 that gave it to AC2.

    I suspect that SMG 2 will get a few nods though. RDR will get more.

    Multiplat games almost never get GOTY...toward the end of this last gen and into this entire current gen, an exclusive has usually won GOTY.

    Based on the game that won the most GOTY awards for that year:

    2005: Resident Evil 4 (GC), Runner up: ? of War (PS2)
    2006: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii), Runner up: Gears of War (360)
    2007: Super Mario Galaxy (Wii), Runner up: Bioshock (360)
    2008: Grand Theft Auto IV (Multi), Runner(s) up: MGS4/LittleBigPlanet (PS3)
    2009: Uncharted 2 (PS3)

    Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the bizz. It's a lot more challenging than the 1st game. I'm only on world 2 and I can see how much more of a challenge it is. Mario always takes a dump on the competition. Thats why my Wii library of games consists of nothing but Mario.

    Oh wow, you got it already? My wallet is hurting lol with SMG2 and Modnation out, I'm at a loss for what to buy.
