I don't think this is his final album.
Like he said in the article that I provided, this upcoming movies inspired him to make this particular album, thus why it's called a "soundtrack". I can see a surprise Detox drop coming much in the same way that this album was a surprise. -
Dre is a perfectionist I think the Firm and Aftermath presents made him more careful what to release and what not to release

The Firm was a great album. Aftermath was wack -
This ? makes me wanna hear a Game album fully produced by Dre. Doubt that'll happen , but Game brings his A game when Dre is on the boards.
I was just thinking the same thing. Game really be going all out for that ? Dre.

Ok I got it for real this time..
Listening now.
It's all on me" got me feeling all warm Inside.
I like it, wasnt what I expected...but "just another day" is hard -

I would say the same if he had Nas or Prodigy on it. -

We must have different copies...Em went concrete hard on that medicine man track.
I like the album of course.
Kinda lags I the middle.
I give it 7.5/10 -
Damn shame ? got to check writing credits in 2015

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. -

#1. He's not #2. He is a bit out of place. -
GOAT

So according to those credits neither Snoop nor Cube wrote their verses because they're names aren't on those credits...damn I figured Snoop didn't he's had other people write for him for a while now but I thought Cube wrote his ? still

Rather have ? writing dissertations than fading while bumping trap and fast food music
Yeah but ? end up overthinking simple lines instead of enjoying the music. Ain't no subliminal to Kendrick saying "they nominated six to carry him"...there's 6 pallbearers at a funeral. That's it lol -

BRUH...get real. It's all marketing. This is all about his deal with APPLE. His ass was inspired by that billion dollar deal he signed which I'm sure included a promise to bring APPLE Music more business. -
Theres some filler on this album but its cool for the most part
-
Snoop's ghostwriter on One Shot One ? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
-
Although I was originally hoping to hear Dres signature sound, I'm actually happy Dre tried something a lititle different. Kind of shows his versatility and solidifies his greatness as a producer.
I give the album an 8/10 after 3 listens.
My 3 favorite tracks as of now are Animals, Talk about it, & Talking to my Diary.
Dre the goat. 50 plus years old still getting it done. -

Now I see why he was saying it's ok to have ghostwriters aslong as the music's good.
For the ? 's who have Cube in yall top 5, he still in there after being exposed for using ghostwriters? -

That's cool if you believe so. I'm not gonna debate it with you because I don't really care that much either way. I'm just happy he dropped another album.
My main point was my doubts of this being his last album. -

I want to see an interview with Dre talking about who worked on this album and didn't make it on.
I figured Tyrese (No Black Ty) would have been on here.
No Stat Quo, Bishop Lamont, Slim The Mobster, Nate Dogg vocals, no Easy E rap vocals, No MC Ren, Warren G still hasn't worked with his brother, Kurupt, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q, Nas, and Hov. That would had made this album a big send off.
All these cats worked on "Detox". From what it sounds like in that interview he did is he started from scratch probably not too long ago. Tons of dope music just collectin dust we'll prolly never hear
breh, you ever watched the making of Detox videos? So much dope ? they let you hear the making of that never dropped or dropping for that matter -
King Mez is a dope ghost writer
-

What people need to understand is that some of these ? are too rich and too busy to be walking around with their old ink pen & notepad.
Think about it........If you were the head of a record company with multiple artists under your label, married w/kids, had a net worth of $100 Million, was signing promotional deals with clothing/shoe/liquor companies, and was constantly appearing at big events to network...........Would you still have time to write lyrics for your albums or would you write some of it & fill in the rest from young ghostwriters that you could afford to pay?
