Hopefully the White Sox go out and get some pitching, throwing Quintana, Danks and Noesi out there is not the answer. I don't expect Samardzija to come back and redeem himself next season
-
Dodgers need some run producers. Looking forward to seeing what Seager can do for a full year. Yung Joc will be better this year. Bullpen needs work and we need a good replacement for Zack.
-
Tigers need to ink Heyward, need a lefty bat, resign JD, Rajat Davis, Yovanni, Soria, and Fister.
-
My Indians need EVERYTHING!
-
Don't sleep on frisco.I think the giants poised to sign David Price or grienke they need a #2 starter. They'll most likely resign Leake too
Cubs linked to all types of names.Just get some starters(trade or fa don't matter),a bullpen pitcher or 2(need a lefty bp pitcher) and some contact hitters.I'd be cool if they signed denard span and ben zobrist.Pipe dream would be Jason Heyward or David Price one of those 2.I think either castro or baez gonna get traded for a pitcher -
the twins have won the bidding rights for byoung ? park
hes suppose to be some power hitting 1b -- he hit 50+ HRs each of the last two seasons
he was teammates with pirates ss kang who had a very impressive first year
if his numbers can translate in similar fashion as kang did this season, ? park and sano will make for some kind of power duo -
We need a new owner.

ny post has white sox signing ian desmond for 5 years at $80 million.
that would be horrible -
So far I've seen predictions of Price to the cubs for 7 years 210 mil and 8 years 250 mil.Lol that aint happening not for those amounts unless theo got a huge budget that he aint tellin the public about
Price will have to take significantly less to come to the cubs -

And there was some talk that the Mets were thinking about bringing him back. -
Shout out to the boy Dee Gordon earning a Gold Glove. What a season for him.

not sure how much it matters but with GM meetings going and conversations starting with prime fa shouldnt the dodgers name a manager lol
im sure they are clearly moving forward in the search and not having someone in that role may not hurt them but it definitely wont help them -

They interviewed dave martinez today and he was the final candidate.I do want martinez to get a manager gig someday but selfishly I hope he stays wit the cubs cuz he does a lot of work with the rookies. They supposed to be choosing 3 of the 9 candidates for 2nd interviews next week. They'll most likely have a manager before the winter meetings -

i thought he was gonna take over in tampa when maddon left because this guy has been the perennial candidate being thrown around for many jobs over the years but for whatever reason nobody hires him
im sure by now he has to be feeling like he is being used as the one minority candidate that mlb instituted has to be interviewed for every managerial vacancy -

It's bout to be another long ass season smh -
Mets asked about simmons and the braves said de grom or harvey so if they trade him they're aiming high but I read they might traded teheran instead
Peter gammons said aroldis chapman will be traded in the next 3-4 days -
Colby Rasmus accepted the astros qo.1st player ever to accept a qualifying offer
-
Lefty Sean Newcomb and righty Chris Ellis are also going to the Braves. The pair were the two top-rated Halos pitching prospects.

He really likes it down here. Plus he's been saying he didn't want to play more than a few more years anyway so he's trying to get his cash while he can. Good to have him back though he was on fire in the playoffs.

atl gonna open their new stadium in two years with like 14 people there lmao theres only two reasons i see a team who is building around pitching and defense trading away a player that has a glove that could land him in cooperstown at one of the most important positions on the field
1. defense is one of the skills (along with speed) that declines the earliest so they are probably concerned that once he begins to decline (peak age is said to be 29) he becomes a bad contract since his offense hasnt developed like they hoped it would (a .256 hitter in the 7 or 8 hole who is good for 3-4 WAR per year based on his fielding alone is good enough for me though)
and
2. theyre all in on their best prospect who plays the same position to be ready by the time simmons contract jumps so it frees up money to go towards other pieces
thing is, dude is 18 so he is at least 2 years away -- at the least -- so this idea they saying that they will be ready to compete by 2017 isnt realistic and at some point they need to start parlaying some of those chips into a hitter or two -

The braves reportedly like soler and they have plenty of pitching prospects. So I can see a possible soler trade to the braves for teheran, miller or a couple of their pitching prospects.
