Whats some of your most disappointing dream matches?
For me:
1. Goldberg vs Rock. I wasn't watching wrestling at the time but I remember being in FYE and seeing the Backlash DVD cover thinking to myself "HOLY ? ? !" then I watched it and was like...meh.
2. Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg
See above but it was WM 20 DVD.
3. CM Punk vs Rock -Royal Rumble
Not a bad match but disappointing. I hate that finish too.
4. HHH vs Brock Lesnar - Summerslam
It was aight but I expected SO much more. I think their other matches were better.
5. Sting vs Kurt Angle
Not horrible but the storyline was terrible and the run-ins...just meh.

Sting vs Hollywood Hogan (Starrcade 1997)
-
WCW had plenty of them, but I'd still say Goldberg/Lesnar. ? were trying not to get hurt. They may as well have had a pillow fight.
-
HHH vs Lesnar probably had the worst trio of matches ever
-
I don't even remember Triple H and Brock having a match, that ? must have been so bad I blocked it from memory
-
Any match with HHH will always be disappointing.
Goldberg vs Lesnar though -
Not like the first one was anything special, but Hogan/Warrior 2 at Halloween Havoc 98 was atrocious.

I was let down by their SS match but the WM match was alright and I haven't even caught the cage match yet. -
Was hhh lesnar really a dream match?
-
How could it not be?

Brock and taker 1

The unforgiven 2002 match or the WM 30 match?
I could argue both were. -
Unforgiven really wasn't a "dream" match

It was brocks first title defense. What is the criteria for a supposed "dream match"? -
That Brock & Goldberg match. 3 minutes of dudes hugging each other at WRESTLEMANIA...

Lesnar vs Undertaker Hell In A Cell, No Mercy 2002>>>>>>>> -
i didnt like the ending to taker/lesnar 1 at unforgiven but i enjoyed the match
they only had one bad match imo (WM30) -
The answer to this is bret vs vince.

Why did you expect much from that. Bret's body is broken down from multiple strokes and Vince was in his 60's. You knew going in it wasn't going to be a wrestling masterpiece -
Shawn Michaels vs Mr Perfect at Summerslam 1993, while the match was solid it wasn't the masterpiece we thought it was going to be.
-
Warrior/hogan 2
Brock/Golberg
Anything Goldberg in WWE
-
Hogan vs Michaels
-
Bret Hart vs Hulk Hogan was trash.

I just watched this recently. It was aight. HBK ruined it on purpose which makes it even more entertaining honestly. So it was probably better than it would have been.
A classic for all the wrong reasons -

Yeah they never had good matches
Sting vs Bret were failures too. I can't understand why they didn't click.
