I've never understood why she's hyped up so much, but some of those things sound like legit coincidences. Nothing is new under the sun. Over a 20 - 30 period, you're bound to have multiple comedians say similar ? . I think this is less an example of her being a thief and more of her being unoriginal.

As for the patrice ? , those jokes by him weren't even his. They're just run of the mill ? jokes that been circulated around forever.

Yeah but she used them back 2 back (like the cover of lethal weapon) the exact same way he did...just changed two words. -
I just watched the video. Her delivery is horrible. Damn it's horrible. I don't see why people think she is funny.
And I know nothing about the stand up world, I'm sure there's plenty of recycled jokes, but this here is just too similar. She didn't even make that great of an attempt to make them her own, she change own or two words up and finished it off just as the others did. Sad. -

I don't condone ripping off others' jokes, but it's nothing new. I listen to a lot of old standup from Redd Foxx, Pryor, Murphy, Martin, etc. and I hear the same or similar jokes from new comedians.

I do find Amy to be funny.I haven't watched this yet,but I can't front,she makes me laugh.
Amy admitted to inspiration from Patrice on that joke,but also those are generic sex phrases that have been around. -
ive never seen amy schumer do stand up but from those videos and audio she is horrible as a performer
all her jokes sound wrote and i know they are for every comedian but maybe it comes down to a comedian needing to have a certain level of acting ability or something
all the good ones come off as them having a conversation with their audience
