Then there's the story of the lunch, which spread throughout the Naval Special Warfare community. Guys still tell it, almost a decade later. Tiger and a group of five or six went to a diner in La Posta. The waitress brought the check and the table went silent, according to two people there that day. Nobody said anything and neither did Tiger, and the other guys sort of looked at one another.
Finally one of the SEALs said, "Separate checks, please."
The waitress walked away.
"We are all baffled," says one SEAL, a veteran of numerous combat deployments. "We are sitting there with Tiger f---ing Woods, who probably makes more than all of us combined in a day. He's shooting our ammo, taking our time. He's a weird f---ing guy. That's weird s---. Something's wrong with you."
Tiger was at the table like....

Did Tiger invite them to dinner and/or offer to pay beforehand?
Not a problem to me.....
It's only a problem for the ppl expecting a handout. "He got $$$ so he should pay for everything" is THOT logic. -
This is what I say about running your kids' lives: they become programmed followers. If that same soldier said, "Tiger, pay the bill!" He would've paid without hesitation. He just needs to be told what to do more often than not.
And considering his dad ran him for most of his life, a strong male voice telling him to jump would've gotten a "How high?" -
Tiger did the right thing...see how quick they start talking ? after he didnt open his wallet for other grown working adults....
-
What's the problem?

Ironically, these military types tend to be the same folks stressing pulling yourself up by your ? straps and work hard for everything u get. Tiger Woods is a G

? sayin whats the problem. Lol Yea yall some kids. You also dont have proper context.
I havent read the piece yet but we may have to sticky this and just make it Tiger stories thread.
The part i read said he was out with Jeter and Jordan and was like 'how do yall talk to women'One night he went to a club in New York with Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan. Jeter and Jordan circulated, talking with ease to one beautiful woman after another. (Both declined to comment about the episode.) At one point, Tiger walked up to them and asked the question that lives in the heart of every junior high boy and nearly every grown man too.
“What do you do to talk to girls?”
Jeter and Jordan looked at each other, then back at Tiger, sort of stunned.
Go tell ‘em you’re Tiger Woods, they said.
Lmao @ Jeter and Mike hittin Tiger with

I don't really see the problem. I've never in my life expected another man to pay for my dinner.

That's what I don't get. These soldiers are really making a fuss over this ? , like it's deserved. I'm sure Tiger Woods lost money by spending time with them as opposed to shooting a commercial or taking meetings, etc. ? really probably ordered a gang of ? they'd never order because they thought they wouldn't have to foot the bill and Tiger brought them ? back to reality like "I had the one steak and salad. Here's my portion" lmao. ? was probably hilarious in person lmao -

and these clowns wanted to be wined and dined like groupie ?
Tiger was like thank you for your service

If he invited them out, then he should pay. If it was some mutual ? then he doesn't owe them ? .
Money doesn't change people who have money imo. It changes the people around them because they have a sense of entitlement like you're suppose to take care every financial thing. That's how people go broke. -

Just because you invite them out don't mean you have to pay.
What kind of ? is that. That ain't no damn date -
Thought it was known he was cheap ..it was stories of him eating at Perkins and only leaving 1dollar tips .jemele hill told the story on his and hers because she talked to waiters and waitress
-
so grown men are now not expected to attempt to pay....regardless if they was invited or not....a man should want to pay for himself
-
S/O to the Birdman of pro golf Tiger Woods aka Scrooge Mcduck.
