The people he was talking to needed to hear that speech on that platform....in there next interviews they can't run from what was said on that stage and how they plan to respond without being held accountable

I often look for leadership from rappers and other entertainers.

In all seriousness simple ? as not making mistake babies can improve black communities dramatically.

im jus tired of the talkin..

didnt watch the clip but i loved every word i read from it..
but im tired of the talkin..

im ready to see some action..
these ? is more then capable..

dedicating our lives to getting money just to give it right back, for someone’s brand on our body. When we spent centuries praying with brands on our bodies. And now we pray to get paid for brands on our bodies.
This should have been a wake up call for everyone watching, especially celebs and BET

The first question they asked everyone on the red carpet was 'and who are you wearing.....'

I think I heard one chick (Beyonce's artist) said she was wearing something a dude (black) out of Harlem or The Bronx had made for her.

? was sad as ? listening to them chicks and dudes describe their attire. Ppl spend their money how they want but ? , support your own 1st.

So what’s gonna happen is we’re going to have equal rights and justice in our country, or we will restructure their function, and ours.

The burden of the brutalized is not to comfort the bystander. That’s not our job, alright? Stop with all that. If you have a critique for the resistance—for our resistance—then you’d better have an established record of critique of our oppression. If you have no interest… If you have no interest in equal rights for black people, then do not make suggestions to those who do. Sit down.

The speech was just pandering and preaching to the choir. However, like some have already noted, dude does a lot of good with his actions. That's what we should be promoting and applauding.

Good speech, but somebody school me on who he is

He's the guy from Greys Anatomy with the dreamy, mesmerizing eyes.

You think of yourself as a white woman with blond hair and blue eyes?

@gameoffeminists I see you have an affinity for being negative, either that or you have an idiosyncratic way of getting a point across. Fwiw there are several quality owned black businesses that don't fit your myopic expectations.
