The title of Everlast album should of told you who bought that album. Shaq rap career started hot sales wise cuz of name recognition alone.

Nah it can't be artists that's known for doing well commercially.
For instance, Snoop's:
"Doggfather"
"The game is to be sold, not told"
"Top Dogg: No limit"
All went plat. They weren't garbage but they weren't as good as ? or last meal. But they sold because.....it's Snoop. -
Jay and Em will go plat no matter what because they're household names and not only enjoyed by hip hop fans.

Bootleg copies won't heavy back then ? actually went out and bought that ?

The game is to be sold was a very great album imo
A lot of albums benefitted from timing and the fact iTunes and the like weren't around where you could just buy the one or two songs you actually liked
"one dope single and ? album" applies here in a lot of cases -
I was looking for some Death row rejects that went plat and found this
Ether
*dead* what if his kids see that ? . -

The only good songs on this album were the singles. The rest of this album was filler. -
I admit. I bought Made Man. Smfh @ myself. It had some bangers on it though. That St. Lunatics album was bumpin.
