Vic getting 10+ sacks this year you heard it here first
-
2 pass-rushers at the same dam time in about a decade.
-
I feel like this year will be a rebirth for the squad. I'm actually looking forward to the preseason game tomorrow.
-
They'll cook this year and be ready next season. A few more kinks to work out. Coach Quinn is experimenting with the DT position and RG position needs some youth. Chester is on his retirement lap. He put in a stop gap to help Vic's pass-rush with Freeney and Shelby. One thing I am impressed about is the LB core. For the 1st time in a looooooooooonnnnnnnnmnngggggggggg time, we got youth with speed, experience, awareness, pass-coverage, and depth for all three positions. Vic is blitzing from the Sam.
Vic, Freeney, Clayborn, Shelby, Reed, and Babs on the front 7 at the same dam time. -
Looks like we'll have to settle for kicking ya'll #ss in preseason this year....like the last time we came in y'all house and smacked y'all around...
-
Let's just hope yo soft ass QB don't get put to sleep again.
-
I don't even wanna really see Julio most of the preseason let Sanu, Hardy and the other ? get reps.
I also wanna see what the rookies look like on defense cause they're gonna have to be good this season for anything to happen. -
I'm going to the game 2night. I'm watching CJ Goodwin. He was a receiver that they moved to cb. I'm hoping he steps up because we can't afford to keep Alford and Tru next year. It'll be nice to have our entire secondary on rookie contracts with the exception of Tru. All youth, length and speed.
More money can go to the front 7 or a veteran RG to replace Chester.
That defense is going to be nasty. Courtney Upshaw has been moved to DT. We got speed and power on the front 7. -
Almost that time!!!!!!
-
Offense looks a lil suspect but I expected that. Defense looks good as expected.
-
Paying close attention to CJ Goodwin. I haven't seen him get beat all night. I'm liking what I see.
-
The rookie LB's really exceeded my expectations. They were quick flying to the ball and weren't too aggressive. The pass rush looks highly improved also. I do want to see the first team offense operate better, but that probably won't be until the third preseason game when they can gameplan.

Spoon and Reed are 29. Those are the oldest LBs we have. I see the direction and identity Quinn is headed to. It's beautiful....the depth are veterans, under 30, with speed and awareness. The starters are under 27 with speed and endurance. I ? love it.
All speed -
Somebody posted this on the Falcons' board and I agree.

Word Jones gotta get a little bigger nh but Campbell look like he ready for week 1.
I hope Keanu Neal get to play in the preseason so I can see what he look like -
They're saying Neal should see some action in his first preseason game this Thursday against the browns.
-
Brooks Reed looks good at LEO
-
The secondary gotta tighten up but other than that it was a OK showing
-
I just now realized Hester got cut I been out the loop lol
-
Liked what I saw from first team offense, but db's looked like they fell asleep a few times in coverage. That we are Crazy deep at running back, I wonder is it the blocking scheme or the backs just that good. You expect it from Freeman and Coleman, but it seemed everyone else was getting nice yardage as well.
-
A little combination of both. Everywhere Shanahan goes, he will have a running game. The offense will get points. Those turnovers was the problem. Neal, Alford and Tru got burnt last night. Allen was late on the help on a few plays. Somebody needed to wake their ass up. I'm pretty sure Quinn will address it. I expect improvements next week.

Whats yall opinion of Sanu? I wasnt that crazy about paying him so much money to be a possession receiver. He doesn't look as fast as they tried to make it seem when they signed him. Trying not to judge so early, but time will tell.
