Apparently, unbeknownst to us suburban (not true but even if I was, this isn't an insult) ? Jim Jones was the HOTTEST rapper in the game. And that Wayne, or anybody else for that matter, couldn't withstand the hurricane that is known as Capo the Incomparable Kufi Smacker.
Wayne came off Tha Carter II in 05, which many consider a classic. He followed up with Da Dedication 2, Like Father Like Son in 06, countless features and then dropped one of the greatest mixtapes ever with Da Drought 3 in 07.
MTV even went as far as to vote Wayne the hottest rapper in the game in 07.
Then we have Jim Jones. He dropped the BANGER, We Fly High, which peaked at number 5 on the Hot 100 and pushed out Hustlers POME shortly after and that was really about it...
Idk, maybe the suburban version of myself is missing something but that's why I need the hood ? to finally speak the truth.

Any year with Graduation, AG (not a fan of that album, but I can acknowledge quality), The Cool, Return of the Mac, Finding Forever, and Eardrum dropping is a pretty good year in my book. Matter of fact, the only bad thing I can recall from 07 is the ? dying. -
