Damn...RIP

A true legend and one of the most genuine white people ever. Hope he's laughing it up with Pryor and Gilda Radner in the afterlife.

Just watched Stir Crazy last week. Great film

Alzheimer's is such a muthafucka just like MS and Cancer. To think a man with such an ingenius brain basically lost it to that ? . The way Wilder, his true wife and love of his life Gilda Radner and Richard Pryor all went out was too tragic.

'80's baby here... yeah

RIP Gene..."? Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" is one of the most iconic films in history. Him and Pryor were one of the greatest comedy duos EVER.

loved all his work with pryor
it always seemed to me that he enjoyed working with him but i remember hearing gene didnt like that pryor was unpredictable and he would often get upset that pryor would just leave everyone on the set waiting (he liked pryor before the drugs though) -- for example pryor was supposed to play the sheriff in blazing saddles but on filming day called in to say he was in some other city and had no idea why lol so they hired cleavon little instead -

i dont think i had any harder laughs with pryor and wilder than in see no evil, hear no evil
its ironic how he never thought he was funny he thought the lines he got to perform and the stuff he got to do was funny but he never thought he himself was a very funny person -- 1 of the last things i saw from wilder was just a few years ago where he did an interview with alec baldwin -- the intro to the interview was a baldwin voiceover discussing who he was going to interview -- as the voiceover is going -- the camera is panning down a large backyard and it passes by wilder as hes just standing there -- the simple act of him just standing there and looking at the camera was hilarious -
When I found out it ruined my day. R.I.P.
