A Jefferson County, Texas judge removed Chinara Butler, the widow of later rapper ? C, from head of the icon’s estate after ? ’s oldest son, Chad J;, cited mismanagement and poor communication with his stepmother, according to Beaumont Enterprise.

Chad Jr. claim in court documents that Chinara had been “grossly negligent” in handling his father’s estate. As grounds for Chinara’s removal, the 23-year-old said that she never distributed portions of ? C’s estate to his heirs, not had she filed yearly accounts of the estate’s property and financial affairs in years.

He asked the court to replace Chinara with a temporary administrator. However, County Court-at-Law No. 1 Judge Gerald W. Eddins said he would delay a decision on appointing a new head of the estate until Friday.

A judge previously found Chinara misapplied $150,000 worth of jewelry and could not account for certain estate assets. She was then removed as independent administrator of the estate in February 2010, when attorney Fred Theobold was appointed temporary administrator.

Theobold resigned four months later, and a Chinara was once again appointed as head of the estate.
Chinara took to her Twitter account today to send a message to all ? C fans, saying, “I am quite ok with the results. This is ? ’s plan. This is His intent…this is nothing but business reconstruction.”

She also promised new, unreleased music from Sweet James Jones in the future.
