Willie Calhoun turned 73-yrs-old over the weekend, but also celebrated his 59th anniversary working at an ATL area McDonalds. The loyal employee has been busting his back at the establishment since he was 14-years-old. We don’t know what Willie made an hour…but Willie must be content, right?

After 59 years you should own at least one. Just my opinion.

He was told in 1988 that he'll move on to washing lettuce, then fries, then the grill. Give or take a year or two, he'd make assistant manager for the big bucks to roll in...
Unfortunately for Willie he was stuck mopping floors for 59 years

When I was working at Mickey ds in high school it was this guy working there for 15 years making little bit more than the managers
-
Definitely a man without a whole lot of formal knowledge or education.
All those years of dedication and he isn't at least a manager, regional manager, owner or nothing.
Props to him, because I'm sure he's seen and endured a lot but its very telling that he hasnt moved past being a cook. Dude is a senior citizen there rubbing shoulders with teenagers yes McDonald's ain't nothing could at least promote him to taking orders. -
how much was he making

Props to him and all but this is a perfect picture to show people to tell them to get a career, not a job.

Hard to live off of a McDonald's salary but shout out to him though.

I believe those franchises cost at least a million nowadays
-
Maybe he was happy just doing that. He might've not wanted management responsibility or ownership...? , or the money
-
What about Calvin?
-
Interesting..but it doesn't appear that he's retiring at all..

McDonalds should hook him up for his loyalty and patience.
A house, car and maybe 5 million in the bank.
That ain't ? but $5 to them. Plus, the publicity would be good. ? it, make a burger after this man, cash in. Dude gets $1 per burger sold. -
That's the kind of dedicated and reliable employee I'm willing to put money into to keep them around.

I bet he got hella hoes
