There will be a part 2 thread later this week where we'll discuss who has handled rap beef the worst so hold off on that for now.
This is a list of people who are generally considered to have handled themselves masterfully in their various rap battles and they've gone about it in very unique ways. Take into account all of their rap battles, not just any one in particular.
So this is specifically asking who has done it the BEST.

Jay ZJay for sure, people said he cried on hot 97 after ether came out and to me that shows Jay is the bigger man, he does not need to hide his emotions, this makes him the greatest.

That's an interesting way to look at it.
Especially since when people usually mention emotion, 2Pac's name is at the top of the list. -
Great thread

I feel like people are going to say Nas because of Ether alone but he didn't respond to Super ugly and let Cam'ron diss him relentlessly. He and Drake are most similar there.
Then you have Pac who went hard at everyone, no subliminal, very disrespectfully. Then Game comes along like 8 years later and arguably improves upon the Pac approach to rap beef.
As far as antics go, that's all 50 Cent and Cam'ron. -
OtherE40.
Why? With exception of Record Haters (off the Hall of Game project) it was typically settled OFF wax.

2Pac

OtherMaybe Ice Cube secondly because he kept just winning in every way possible as NWA went in on him.....but the Cypress Hill beef somewhat blemishes his record in terms of beef...

And Common -
Jay shouldn't even be mentioned after crying, this dude got his mom involved and came with a weak response, he did not handle that beef well at all

Meek Mill ain't a Choice.?!?

50 CentPax was too emotional n not very thought out when it came to his beefs...seemed too impulsive instead of calculated..
This is a good thread. I voted 50 bc he basically made a career n multi million $$ label off rap beefs that started with "how to rob" n the murder Inc. ?
Game comes second due to his diss tracks n knocking ? out..dude never seems to take a loss on the mic beefing -
Cam'ronThe Comedian of rap beefs. Dissed Nas, Jay, 50 Cent and stood tall throughout them all. His Curtis sketches were hilarious.
If you think about all of the negative things people say about those 3, Cam brought a lot of it to the forefront. -
From illMatic to StillMatic you still a ? lol ? alway made me laugh

NasSo getting shot up over your beefs is handling it the best huh?
-
NasHow did Pac handle it the best when it got him killed in the end ?
In the Reason ? are gonna say Hov or NaS SMMFH. In truth it's 50 Cent, he went at everyone and humiliated them. To the point where ? largely try to avoid him. If you say Jay-Z, you have to say he's the best at avoiding beef because that's the whole purpose of subliminals - to actually avoid the confrontation. NaS has really only had public beef with Jay, you can say Biggie but that was more subliminal than anything.
50 Cent easily takes this..... But at the same time this The Reason so I'll understand if ? don't agree with 50.

OtherI'm going to say Wu-Tang Clan and specifically Ghostface Killah.
If you believe the rumors, back in the day the Wu used to mop the floor with anyone who got disrespectful.
Ghost broke Mase's jaw... Raekwon's goons snuffed Joe Budden... 50 Cent was apparently dodging the Wu for awhile after "How To Rob" came out (no lie... he even admitted it in an interview)
Years later when 50 Cent started talking slick again, Gza ethered him with "Paper Plates"
But getting back to Ghostface, who can forget how he sonned Action Bronson over an r and b track? LOL.
Or even how he clowned that Martin Shkreli dude?
The only real loss the Wu took is the infighting of everyone with Rza,his brother, and Power over payment of royalities but that is more of a money thing between family than a rap beef.
? ... Ghostface is in his 40s and he is still jumping off the stage and mashing people in the crowd if they get silly.
