Out of curiosity who picked this topic? -
Same people who picked all the topics. 2Stepz and the judges. Which side to argue is random as well.

Curfew. There are a select group of words in English that make me shudder, this is one of them. A word synonymous with negative actions which feature positive results. Bedtime. A universal curfew imposed upon children to ensure they aren’t staying up late to watch television, eat snacks and lose out on sleep.
One of my favourite episodes of the Cosby Show is Rudy trying to prove to her parents that she can stay up past her bedtime and still maintain her normal self throughout the day. After her first night with Johnny Carson, bags of potato chips and sodas she can’t wake up the next morning. Cranky after waking, she falls asleep at school and Heath hears from her teacher at the end of the day. Rudy still trying to cling to her newfound independence promises a night where she and her father can stay up all night. In the end as 10pm rolls around she is fast asleep on the couch.
The general idea of curfew may seem like limiting daily activities to a group of humans constantly in a rebellious state, but rather it gives more precedent to being productive. With a limited time outside of school and the allocated time it takes to do homework teenagers have about 2-3 hours before curfew hits in certain cases. The selected hours one chooses to use are not infinite and this practice shall be used to the best way they can.
To outline, the established time for curfews imposed on teenagers follows from 10pm - 6am. Now any reasonable person should know the hours within this time frame only solicits some of the more tasteless pieces of our society.
Clubs are rampant during these hours, drugs, hookers and crime flood the streets like a nasty tsunami. And like all bad things that they can’t have teenagers are addicted to finding out why they shouldn’t participate. With a mind not fully developed to understand the long term consequences of their actions, the law and parents must provide for them.
Now this limiting of activities that one may participate in is only an etching of how to prevent a teenager from being addicted to any substance or adrenaline rush. The restrictions are to focus addiction on one's self. Betterment starts with wanting to improve skills to the point where performing is effortless.
If you are scared by the word curfew, maybe the word habits should resonate more. The reason people are successful is because they honed the building blocks of success. Limiting the time wasted on the currency of time and instead finding and practicing their passion to enable extra activities to harvest.
