LSU predictions. 11-1 second in the SEC West

    A. Key gon lead the nation in sacks

    D. Guice gon lead the SEC in rushing.

    J. Stevens gon be a Freshman All-America.

    Y'all assets ain't going no damn 11-1, y'all 3rd best team in the west. I'll give 11-2

    Etling at qb
No wr to catch the ball

    Replacing secondary and linebackers

Etling? Meh. He might not start
WR? We always got talent at That position. We good

Linebacker? That ? is a concern.

    Secondary? We DBU ? .

    @AllFloridaFans

Not seeing 11-1, but you have to set the bar high. Florida will have the best running game in the SEC. 10-3, SEC Champs.

Don't forget what Scarlett and Perine did in that same game. Gutted and ran over LSU. Our depth will be more effective, thus making it the best RB unit. Guice may be the top back, meh. But the best unit will reside in Gainesville.

Damn you have a very revisionist history going on. 2 drives and one play accounted for more than half the yards Florida gained the whole game. That most likely happened after Beckwith got hurt.

Doesn't matter when and how against good defenses. What matters is 'if'. We did put together a dominant run game against a dominant defense, on their homefield when they thought they were the next best thing to Alabama, at the right time. Beckwith got in the way, he'll think twice next time.

129 yards rushing the majority came on one drive is not dominant. But they won Florida beat LSU on their home field. It happened. Can not and will dispute Florida wanting that win more than LSU. With all that was going wrong for Florida they beat them. But going forward. Offensive ineptness should not be the calling card for LSU anymore.

While the opposite is being said about Florida.

That would go against being a CFP sleeper that ESPN said Florida was for 2017. I think you and a lot of other people are in denial that this not Will Muschamp's Florida team. The offense is experienced and a solid year from Franks or Tranks will cement Florida as an SEC contender, a Francios (FSU) type R-Fr. season makes them a CFP contender. It's a small sample size and McElwain hamstrings himself at times, but with Will Grier, he showed what he's capable of, especially against Ole Miss. Say what you want, but don't be suprised by Florida's pending success, you won't like it.

Bossier City Louisiana Parkway HS coach who banned Bama is fired: Report

David Feaster, the Bossier City Parkway High football coach who has banned Alabama coaches from recruiting on his campus, has been fired according to The Shreveport Times. "Coach Feaster and I do not share the same philosophy or vision for Parkway High School athletics," Parkway principal Waylon Bates said in a written statement.

Feaster repeated his stance this past week about Alabama with Fletcher after Harris announced he was transferring from LSU. He also called Alabama football "unethical" on a Baton Rouge radio station (104.5 FM ESPN).

"Most people are going to say 'Feaster just ran his mouth,' but (Parkway) made it clear to me why they fired me," Feaster told The Times. "They can say what they want to about Alabama, but (Bates) cited me for insubordination.

"He said, 'You should have checked with me before you banned Alabama.' I said, 'That was four years ago, you weren't even the principal here.' But he said I brought so much negative publicity to the school I had to go."

Deshaun Watson, Mitch Trubisky headline deep ACC class at NFL combine

In need of a football fix? The NFL scouting combine is just a few weeks away, and we’ve now got an official list of those invited to participate.

Here are some notes on on those selected from the ACC for the event, scheduled for Feb. 28-March 6 in Indianapolis:

By school, Clemson and Miami had the most invitees with nine. The Hurricanes would actually be No. 1 if you include Al-Quadin Muhammad, who was dismissed from the team prior to the start of the 2016 season.

Seven of the league’s 14 teams sent at least six players: Clemson, Miami, Florida State (eight), Louisville (seven), North Carolina (seven), Pitt (six) and Virginia Tech (six).

Overall, 60 ACC players earned combine invites, which was second behind the SEC’s 66. The Big Ten is sending 51, the Pac-12 is sending 46 and the Big 12 is sending 19.

The league is sending five quarterbacks to the combine: Jerod Evans, Nathan Peterman, Mitch Trubisky, Deshaun Watson and Brad Kaaya. That's a third of all QBs participating.

Beyond the QBs, there are 13 wide receivers, eight running backs and fullbacks, five tight ends, 11 defensive backs, six defensive linemen, four offensive linemen and three special-teamers.

Notable absences: Clemson center Jay Guillermo, Georgia Tech center Freddie Burden, Louisville defensive tackle DeAngelo Brown, North Carolina corner Des Lawrence and Duke’s departing defensive backfield of Breon Borders and Bryon Fields. Miami running back Joseph Yearby was also the lone underclassmen from the ACC not invited.

Stop it. Think about where your team is when you're wasting keystrokes to gloat about a THREE STAR CB for a class that isn't official for another calender year. You keep trying to stunt with these early commits and I have to keep referring you to Florida's depth chart. Remember, we took everyone you wanted this year, so you have no choice to fill slots in the next recruiting cycle. Factoid: Dalvin Cook was committed to both Miami and Florida. How'd that go?

Well, we took Davis, Henderson and Edwards in this cycle. Can't say you didn't want them.

His pops from New Orleans. But they Florida boys now though.

Our DB coach is a beast so I wouldn't be totally surprised. Plus bout of our starting CBs, Nickel and SS is leaving next year.

He can come in and start day one.
