    I don't know the back story I don't know if Rae and them responded

    Im not from NYC and I aint digging for info and mainstream rappers

    there are people that know every detail of a rappers life not me

    the internet is east coast bias so they all up NYC butt

    but if it was something i should of known my bad it's plenty of ? i don't know

    those are more for insiders and those connected with the industry

    I think I recall NAS saying in a Complex interview that line was about him being cool with RAE & GHOST. And "your careers short like leprechauns" was about him too....

    I'm pretty sure that Rae line is "beef with wife." It was a reference back in the day to a couple cases where women got arrested for throwing bleach in their husbands' faces. I don't think the Wu were throwing any subliminals at Big in their lyrics. Big's shots at Rae and Ghost were almost certainly a response to the Shark ? skit.

    When you listen to Big's last freestyle on the Wake Up Show it sounds like "You'r reign on the top was short like leprechauns" was going at Tupac. Because he said the verse from You're Nobody Til Somebody Kills You, then his next line was, "You'r reign on the top was short like leprechauns"
