-Rose>>>Iverson (Its been 3 seasons not even hit his prime and got MVP and took a Bulls team ECF he's ahead of the learning curve)

-Larry Bird 2nd greatest player of all-time behind MJ of course

-DWade has passed Kobe up(injuries and old age)

-T-Mac is way tooo overrated on this board. (Great player with all the skills sets but never sniffed the 2nd Rd had no heart 2 speak of even the Rockets went further without him. Lost creditably crying about losing in the 1st rd again.)
    imager.php?id=3218530&t=o GIFSoup

-Too many cats on here sayin if a ? woulda or if a certain player didnt get injured or got drafted too a certain team too justify their crazy opinion on their favorite player.(Ex. If Shaq woulda hit all his freethrows he woulda been the great center of All-time. He didnt so he's not)

-Tony Allen is the best perimeter defender in the League right now(Just ask Durant)

    -Eric Gordon Top 5 SG

-Magic Johnson one of the greatest if not thee greatest PG of all-time (The nicca won FINALS MVP in his rookie season Kareem was hurt so he started at center )

-who the hell said CP3 cant defend WTF is that about??

-Knicks are overrated (they didnt even win A game against a old Boston squad)

Kobe bryant is overrated his defense, bball iq and overall skills are overrated

He is not a great leader or complete player as we saw from 05-07 ,pau gasol saved that guys career

He is just a MJ clone to a T from the fist pump, tongue out da mouth, free throw shooting and fade aways this guy is obsessed wit jordan and will never be better

Only the 22 and under crowd who never saw mj play will argue that non sense

This is easily one of the dumbest things I ever read on here. Congrats.

Kobe Bryant is better than Michael Jordan in literally every facet of the game.
Allen Iverson is top 10 to play the game regardless of position.
T-mac in his prime is a top 10 all-time talent.
Tim Duncan gets overrated because he has rings.
Kevin Garnett is the greatest PF of all-time.
Kobe was better than Shaq for at least one of those 3-peat years.
Old players like Wilt and them would suck in today's game.
The Kobe, AI, Duncan, Garnett, Shaq era was the most talented era of basketball we have ever seen.

    agree with all of this

NO athlete in sports accomplishments are ever as minimized and hated on then Kobe Bryant.

If Kobe would've won a chip with the 06' Lakers you would've had ? on this board and others saying

"So we gonna act like Kwame Brown wasn't the number one pick in the draft?"

    lol... right.

LOL ... i stopped reading in the middle of that magic johnson ? .... da ? is this man saying LOLLLLOLOL

    ok ill start it off

college players should have to play 3 years in the ncaa or be atleast 21 years of age to play in the nba

that might not be that unpopuLAR

doesnt seem like anyone else thinks that tho
this would be a great rule but tweaked. a player should be able to get drafted and signed at 18-19 and paid league minimum but only allowed to come up at 21 and sign a max contract.

I'd say averaging a triple double through a whole season is harder (and thus, a greater achievement) than 81 points in one game. Especially with multiple overtimes. Especially since 81 has been outdone.

theres no PROOF wilt ever scored 100 points..

    81 by a 6'6 shootin guard in 2005 >>>>>>>>>> 100 by a 7'4 center in the 1950's(no video evidence this ever happened)

KOBE outscored the enitre DALLAS MAVERICKS team through 3 quarters 62-61 no player has EVER done that.. it will NEVER happen again

    Here we go:

The legacy of Jordan is HELLA overrated. I'm not saying Jordan's not a great player, because that's ? . He is one of the NBA most important players.

    BUT...

Your basketball ? has been proven time and time again to be just a man instead of higher being that people put him on pedestals around here. I've said for YEARS this one simple fact: Kareem Abdul Jabber A.K.A. Lew Alcindor>>Michael Jeffery Jordan. To this date, I have yet to see an honest response on why this isn't true. Making nice-nice for reporters and Spacejammers don't make you a better player. It just meant that the public was able to buy into your ? more.

All that being said, he's still light years ahead of Kobe in terms of skill set and performance in the clutch.

Kareem was amazing..best center to ever play the game. But Mike BULLDOZED a generation with the likes of Rodman, Horace Grant and Scottie Pippen as his side kicks...not Worthy, Magic and Oscar my dog...Mike was every bit as effective as Kareem was on the block, the size discrepancy explains the rebounding edge. Their career field goal percentage is 6 points difference and we're talking about a 2guard and a center (take out the WSH years is 4pts different).

Mike never had another guy on offense that was capable of killing you...James Worthy could ? you. Pip could get buckets but he wasn't murderous offensively.

Jordan could defend multiple positions and a point in his career he could defend your rim. He locked up the best perimeter player on the opposing team. His offensive game was flawless.

Kareem is great, but you can not take him over Micheal Jordan it's not a good argument.

Kobe is Top 15 all time (why its unpopular I don't know).

1992 Bulls >>>>> 1996 Bulls (less weaknesses and more depth in front court, MJ in PRIME).

Dirk is Top 20 all time, top 3 at PF.

Lebron has been the best player on earth for 5 yrs and is only a few slots away from Kobe in all time greatness.

Allen Iverson the Mike VIck of NBA basketball... Horrible defensive player... avg shooter with horrible decision making and shot selection..

Only think Kobe better than MJ is the 3 pt shot... Jordan is better in all other facest of the game.

1992 Bulls were in no way shape or form better than 1996...Defensively that 1996 team was ? fantastic! Ron Pip and Mike locked ? down on the perimeter...stopped the whole flow of their offense

Dirk NICE...top 10 PF not top 3 (shout out to Duncan Chuck and KG)

LeBron is not the best player on Earth...he is constantly compared to (and outdueled by) Carmelo Anthony who seems to not ever receive any love on this BOARD.

LeBron is a GREAT player, but you can't turn it off as much as he does in the moments and be considered Creme de la Creme...He is dope top 5 SF of all time right now...but his offensive game going into year 9 is still limited. He can't beat you off the bounce from the wing, he can't stop and pull up. His mid range jumper is ineffective unless he is at a stand still and catching the ball from the high post. He has no post game, he has great vision he attacks from the top like a bull, and he is AMAZING at seeing the court. He is world class athletically, and he defends guys that can't hit jumpers with the best of them. (He gets off balance when he fears your jumper)

The majority of the credit for the Bulls impressive 09-10 season is due to coach Tom Thibodeau....his defensive schemes had been proven working alongside Doc Rivers for several years and made two Finals appearances prior to him taking the reigns in Chicago...Derrick Rose is simply getting his "Iverson" on...but not quite lol...only thing is dude appears to be humble so people will overrate that part of his character to elevate him on a level he hasnt earned yet....key word is YET...

Dwight Howard is overrated....if he can develop his offense that he showed last year i will recant this statement

Wade has been the leagues best individual player since 08...( Heat was ass from 07-10)...got robbed for consecutive First team and defense teams cause of Kobe's name...and has been better since LeBron since 06..

Durant is great, but not a leader...see Russel Westbrook in WCF's

Kobe has a natural skillset that barely edges Jordans...only thing is Kobe made worse decisions and was less of an athletic freak..
