That "Genocide" track is my favorite.
When that beat dropped, I thought Just Ice was going to start rapping with KRS yelling "dee-dee-dah-dee-dee-dee-dah-dee-day" in the background...lol
That is definitely a song to bang in the whip...
could have did without the beatboxing barbershop quartet interlude though... wtf? -

Yeah it's not as good as chronic 2001 or the OG but it's pretty good....the beats are pretty damn good as always and the songs and features are put together pretty nice too...it all flows together but I don't really hear any stand out songs like on the other two joints...like I don't see this selling that much cuz I dint really hear any singles on here which is good from an artistic stand point but bad from a reputation stand point which idk how much Dre even cares about at this point

Dope album on first listen, trying to get through a 2nd listen but haven't because I just been playing Animals on repeat since yesterday

After first listen, im not ready to give an opinion. But I think I was expecting the world based on what I was reading. My expectations were too high I guess. I'll drop a better opinion after a few more listens. But surface level this is a 7.5/10

Far from a classic. Sounds like everything else on the radio. Dre's name is the only thing making people care so much I'd wager. And a Compton "soundtrack" with such few Compton artist is bordering disrespectful.
But I love the album. After all these years it finally puts to rest and proves that Chad Butler was the better producer.

I agree that he has lost a little bit if his rap GIGANTIC LEVEL. However he is still an ABOVE THE GAME rapper imo. Especially in this Young Thugg , Quann, Future, generic trap muzik Era.

it sounds like everthing else on the radio? really? ? C is a better producer than Dre? is this life? I love the ? outta ? , UGK is my favorite duo of all time and he is one of my biggest influences in beatmaking/producing but that is just asinine.
I listened to his brothers new EP right after this. Warrens album clearly has a more west coast feel to it and it sounds like something Warren G would make. Though, it is weak. I don't feel that with this Dre album. Sounds like he tried to give his own version of what sound is popular today. Nothing stands out as a rap song except that John Connor track.
There's clearly a difference between this album and the alleged Dre tracks we've come across over the years. Which were all better than what we got here. I don't know what it going on with this new experimental stuff on this and that TPAB. A lot of it reminds me of electronica.
And yeah, ? is better. I can only guess that I'm biased and prefer a more traditional sound to music. He did that. But this latest direction rap music is taking with albums lately is out of my lane. -
I ain't stop listening to this ? since it dropped.... This is gonna go down as a classic and the easy pick for AOTY unless somebody drops something crazy in the next 4 months

Im not even an Eminem fan like that but i thought he killed his feature. The slow build up he began his flow with was a nice bleed in too. I dont know what people problem is. I hate when people criticism dont be having nothing to do with the actual rap song in question type ? . -
