A frat is just like any other organization. Why do you pay dues? Well how do you think events get funded? Money don't appear out of thin air. You're not paying for friends you're paying to fund the org just like anything else you join. And just like anything else yes some lame ? will get in. I don't ? with everybody in my frat just because we are part of the same frat. There's ? ? everywhere. You ain't cool for not joining a frat just like joining one don't make you cool either. If you was a lame before then after crossing you're just a lame ? with letters and you will still be treated as such. Everytime this thread topic comes up it's a bunch of "Yeah they asked me to join but I said ? no."...that ? don't get you cool points. Just means the ? wasn't for you and that's cool...but ? on the entire history of what frats have done and provided for the community just because you heard from somebody that knows somebody about some weird ? you can't even prove just makes you look stupid

A common fundamental misunderstanding of fraternities.
You don't join a frat for what it can do for you. It's what you can contribute to it. It's a network where people in positions can help other people get in better positions be they jobs, contacts, careers, recommendations, endorsements, etc.

Real rap, this is why that video does damage. It helps spread ignorance about Greek life.
I know plenty of Ques that were ? when this came out. Most of them are principals, community leaders, teachers, Director of Bands, etc in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. Stuff like that sucks cause now they gotta answer for new niggatry about bruhs they'll never even meet.
Yes, there are some lames that join and all of a sudde think that gives them stripes. For the most part, most of Greeks I met were just down to Earth dudes outside of their letters. Lawyers, doctors, businessmen, musicians, all that ? . And that's the part that goes widely ignored. All people see is fruit ? ? hopping around in colors. -

So who is giving these "lames" authority to conduct ? -? rituals? Where are these ideas coming from?
It shouldn't take a video years after the fact for this to be addressed. This should of been handled in house on the first infraction and the example made to never do that ? again. But for some reason it seems to keep popping up. -

I remember in like 2001 my freshman year of school I on blackplanet this ? with the screen name SuperNupe or somethin like that started talking to me. Dude was chipped so I asked him if he had any workout tips, told him I would pay for a weight program for the summer because I wanted to try to get bigger for basketball, so he started to sell me on the weights vs calisthenics thing because in high school all I really did was pushups and I was wit it, then he was trying to get me to join a frat too, I think the alphas or kappas or somethin and was hittin me with all the organizational connections that I may have and the life long bond that I could have, again, I was like yo, that might be slick but I was ? a sorority ? around that time and she was goin through it tryin to get in, she wasnt even supposed to be around no ? because of silence or somethin like that, and I didn't know if I was bout that life....The conversation switched again to ?
Then he told me he get down on the DL.....
I said I did too.....I thought this ? was talkin about ? broads but bein low key about it....
He said we should link up....I said yea for the weight ? , we can link at a gym in the city somewhere or a YMCA......
He reiterated, I get down on the DL....... I said bruh why you keep sayin that what the ? do that got to do with weights.....
He said I got a wife, but I get down on the DL with other ? .... I put 2 and 2 together.....
Told this ? if call my phone i'm killin him.
This happened twice, both were in fraternities yo.

The chapter president is at fault. He's supposed to have a code of conduct and make sure its being followed.
The video is so old though there's no telling whether those dudes are even still active.

remind me of some ? my sister told me a while back. She was aka and into all that ? , pretty sure she prolly did some thot ? to get in. One weekend she went back to her campus for a wedding between two Kappas.
